The multiple types of cheeses in this makes it! When reheating I always use my convection oven so I’m sure to get it browned again. Really good stuff. It’s a substantial portion, big enough for 4 so I think the price might be a bit high but worth it. It’s cheaper than me buyer all the cheeses to make it myself! Great stuff!

Good Mac n Cheese

Too lazy (or hungry) to make Mac-and-Cheese from scratch? Hate the childish powder-cheese “classic” variety? This is a good compromise. Boil water, drain, and squeeze the velveeta-texture cheese stuff from the packet. Add a lot of pepper and you're done! I don't add any additional salt because the havarti cheese already tastes pretty salty to me. Texture is creamy with nice plump macaroni.Eat it quick, though, it definitely doesn’t “improve” by sitting around in the pot (and don't even think about reheating in the microwave, yuck).

Cracker Barrel is definitely an upgrade from other brands.The taste is richer and just better. The cheese color is lighter compared to other brands. (Attached a few pictures). It's not as orange.You get a few more ounces and less calories, fat and sodium too!For the price per box, Amazon has the cheapest. In store this would be at least $1 more if not $2.One of the boxes we ordered came slightly dented. Not a big deal. The macaroni is delicious!

Delicious! Try it out if you are a mac and cheese lover like I am. Sometimes you're just too tired to make a meal from scratch, and those moments are exactly why boxed mac and cheese is a necessity. I like this havarti flavor as a nice change from regular Kraft dinner and their various deluxe flavors. Try it out !

This came together really well, enjoyable texture and flavor but a little too salty for my taste.
