Well-informed, unbiased and accessible.
Mathew does an incredible job articulating a past to present view regarding the climate history of our planet to set the stage and follows through is his balanced assessment of the science behind climate change, the effects on our planet and society and possible future scenarios based on different approaches. The most valuable part from my perspective is that he goes beyond simply saying where we're likely headed but offers tangible solutions and explores both the effectiveness and the economics of those solutions. What I really appreciated about his work is that it's not that of a climate alarmist; Mathew's approach is one of science and sense and this is what is needed to wake those up who still believe that climate change and the consequences that come with it, don't exist and aren't already happening.Bravo Mathew!

A clear, interesting and compelling case for net zero
A very well written and understandable case and solution for the global population to be able to urgently transition to net zero. Using his experience and expertise from science and finance, the author has painstakingly pieced together research and facts to create calculations, projections and well crafted ideas and visions which are presented clearly for the lay person to understand. For a non fiction book it is highly engaging and interesting. This is a must read for everyone and the future of the planet could depend on it! Very impressive and I shall be paying much closer attention to my own carbon footprint.

Well-researched and insightful book on this topic
If there is just one book you read on the topic, then it should be this one! It is a comprehensive and compact book at the same time. I still use this book to look things up. Highly recommended!!!

In depth analysis of this topic
This is a much "deeper" dive into Climate change than this year's Bill Gates book (which is also good),but with better technical datail. Well done, Mathew!

Great book, right mix of facts and extrapolations to make it worth your time.
Some chapters were more interesting than others, but overall the writing style is excellent and it flows well.
