I also bought a microfiber towel to compare them for an upcoming trip. They are both lightweight, dry quickly, and fold up into a small package. The microfiber towel has an odd feel (not unpleasant, just odd) and you pat dry (can't rub with the microfiber). I have not been to the beach so I cannot make a "sand" comparison. My concern was that this towel would not dry quickly, but after hanging on the porch railing it dried very quickly. I really like this towel and plan to get some for a friend to replace the bulky towels that she uses on her boat.

Bought these to pack in our luggage for vacation. Great purchase. They were large and cute to use as a wrap over our suits. They even have a pocket for your cell phone. They are not as absorbent as some beach towels, but when you have limited luggage space, this works great. Loved these!

I bought two of these towels to bring to the beach for me and my husband, they are so beautiful but most importantly so functional!! They are so light weight they gave us much needed space in our beach bag but are thick enough that they work well and dry very quickly we used them for 4 days and all 4 days we used them it was all day in and out of the water! And don’t get me started on the pocket it is very discreet and I felt safe leaving my valuables in them while cooling off in the water, these towels are must have!! I have even considered buying more and using them to replace our bathroom towels to save space, definitely the best purchase I’ve made on Amazon so far! I unfortunately don’t have a picture of them on the beach but I will post a photo of them for reference 10/10 very high quality

This is a very nice, attractive, well made, very lightweight ‘beach towel/but not a towel.’I like it and will put over a beach chair, but in no way is it a towel. It’s pretty (feels and looks like a quality, thin linen kitchen towel) and actually would look nice on a chair and feel good as a light blanket.

I have several of these towels, and they are perfect for beach and pool. Dry FAST! great for putting on the beach for protection, and clean off the sand quickly. Great little pocket for phone or keys, and they are big enough to be a sarong for wrapping to walk the beach. Super versatile! Highly recommend!

These towels are fantastic. Super lightweight, dry quickly, and perfect for travel... not eating up space or weight in the luggage. The zipper pocket - about the size of a CD case - was SUPER handy in a recent beach trip, and is big enough to hold all of the necessities - phone, keys, glasses, etc.They're also surprisingly soft right out of the packaging, and the cute little Nazar Boncuk (evil eye) charm that comes pinned to each towel is a really cute touch!

When I think of a towel, I think “terry” material. This is a thin material, very lightweight and I was skeptical of its ability to absorb and dry quickly.In my opinion, it works well for boating or going to the pool or beach. It’s larger than a bath towel, dries you off quickly, it dries fast as well, it has a small zip pocket for your phone or keys. It’s a very nice “towel”. I personally felt like it worked well. It also washes up nicely.

The product arrived exactly as it was described, and the company sent a follow-up email directly on how to wash the product correctly so that we get the best quality out of the towel. I will probably end up ordering more from this company. Very happy with the product.
