I have never gone wrong purchasing Tajima products and their auto lock measuring tapes are no exception. The action of draw-out and retraction are smooth and just the right speed. The locking lever works easily and holds firmly. Although I have not used the measurement markings on the bottom much it is nice having them there. Their claim of a stronger steel tape is warranted, I can tell it is more durable and holds out farther. I also like their 10ft tape for all the same reasons.

this is like the Maserati of tape measures — inside and out. Although a Fastcap at 1/4 of the price will do just as good, why not feel like a baller when you're pull out your tape measure?

As a professional furniture and cabinet maker, my tapes are essential. I’ve tried everything out there, and these are, hands down, the best. The hook is very stout and difficult to damage. It fits great in your hands. Easy to read. Measurements on both sides of the tape. Worth every penny
