Love Stegman’s art, love Cate’s writing, and I absolutely love my favorite Marvel villain.

Just got this comic book and I pretty much liked it even though the final confrontation between Venom and Dark Carnage was quite rushed but anyways, the ending does seem to setup an upcoming story where we will see a full on attack on Earth by Knull. Well sorry about that bit of spoilers there but the point is that I really enjoyed this story. Eddie Brock and Venom did have a great story arc during this story and well this was some epic. Perhaps one of the stories that many Marvel fans will be speaking of so fondly alongside with other great ones such as Secret Wars, Maximum Carnage, The Infinity Gauntlet, etc. Also, I just never thought that Eddie Brock and Cletus Kasady would either clash like this after their first appearances. Aside from that, the delivery was alright. There is nothing wrong with the book except for this small crease/ wrinkle on the top of the cover, which doesn't bother me much. I have a photo demonstrating where it is but it isn't really that noticeable. Other than that, great book and I was happy that this includes the Free Comic Book Day issue, which I missed out on picking up but was hoping this book would include the issue ever since I read an article that stated how some sources indicated this book would have the Free Comic Book Day issue. I would recommend this story to everybody who is a big fan of Venom, Carnage, and the Klyntar race. Also, I do hope that because of this bit story line, we started to see Hasbro, Funko, and other toy companies start to release some merchandise of Dark Carnage, Venom, and the many Klyntars in this because oh my gosh, why not?

This might be worthy of 5 stars, but I'm only a casual Spider-Man and Venom reader, so I think some of the story was lost on me. I loved the art. Top notch. And while I enjoyed the story, it ended short of reaching a true conclusion so the reader is left hanging. But even with my perceived shortcomings, I enjoyed this work because it is a lot of fun and pops off the page.

A great book and at a great price.

I've been a fan of Donny Cates for the past couple of years. This event was really good. I was on the edge of my seat while reading this book and I had no idea what to expect. Cates did a great job with handling all these characters and throwing in several twists and turns. Stegman was able to draw everything out beautifully.I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Spider-Man/Venom stories.

Fun and complex history. I was an Vennon fan, but this comic, whith ahh that stuf blow my mind. Allsome.

Great buy! I’ve been wanting absolute carnage since they announced it a year and a bit ago and this copy did not disappoint! My boyfriend and I are collectors so it’s very important our books don’t get damaged in the process of shipping and it showed up perfect, like I just pick it up off the shelf. Got this for my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day to add to his collection and he loves it! 🤗 thank you very much! Also such a great story 😭😍
