Q: Why do you advertise for a lifetime guarantee but in the fine print you state that lifetime is only 5 years?

I have had my Calphalon non-stick pots and pans for almost 20 years and they are getting a little less non-stick over the years. They have always hand washed, never put in the dishwasher and protected. I was just looking at getting something newer but why would I spend $500 for something that would only be warranted for 5 years? And would those 5 years be based on daily usage? So If I only used them every 2 days, does that extend the warranty to 10 yeas?

Q: What is the difference between C30020 and C33000?

the c30020 is the one piece 8 inch pan without the cover ... The c3000 is the 3 piece 12 inch pans which includes a 12" saute pan, a 12" deep dish pan , and a cover that fits both .. I have the c3000 , a little pricey but so far I'm satisfied ... Just make sure ( as instructed ) the pan is preheated before cooking .. Putting food on without preheating does cause sticking .. Once properly heated there's no sticking ..

Q: Are these ceramic or Teflon?

No, I can pick up after cooking and handle is not hot..love these pots!
