Dependable and well crafted roast
Fresh Roasted coffee is dependably well roasted and good quality. The aroma and flavor are rich and pleasant, smooth and well crafted. It is not the 'best' but it is solidly good. It is a very good value, very good quality for the price. The roast is what they say - medium roast is medium. That is rare since so many company's call roast medium when it is really a dark roast. I stopped drinking dark roast years ago once I learned that medium is the better way to enjoy the flavor, character and quality of a bean. And Fresh Roasted does a solid medium roast.

Decent, not amazing.
This review is for the Organic Mexican, medium roast.Decent enough coffee for the price, but I'm not particularly impressed. I've really enjoyed the medium and light roast Ethiopian Yrgacheffe and Sidamo Guji, but this one's not as good in my opinion.Bag indicates flavor notes of cashew, pear, and brown sugar. You can taste the nutty hints, but the rest of the flavors are muted on the brew. There's pretty much no fruity notes at all, and I'd call this roast slightly on the bitter side, not getting the brown sugar. The ethiopian roasts were also light on the fruity notes, they were a bit muted compared to other roasters I've tasted, but at least it was there, and they're rather tasty when fresh. This one is just okay. It's certainly drinkable, and still better than most store bought coffee, but there's better out there for the price, and much better if you're willing to spend a bit more.

Decent coffee & price but dark blend????
(First, kudos for this having a good zip lock closure. I would have hated having one of that fold-over tie-downs for a bag of this size!)I needed something in this size and at this price to supplement my more expensive Subscription. This coffee is decent - not outrageously good but not bad at all. I think the trick is in getting the right water-to-coffee ratio - which is true of all coffee. For a dark roast Guatemalan coffee, I am surprised at how mild this is. It seems much more like a medium roast. I don't get nearly as much from the flavor notes mentioned. I do get a little bit of the spices but very, very little of the dark chocolate. This gets better tasting if I brew it stronger but I still am not getting the chocolate. That's really disappointing. I've been drinking Jim's Sweet Love and THAT taste like what this is described as.This is not my favorite coffee but only because I do like such a dark roasted flavor. For someone who likes a medium roast, I think this might be good as an affordable buy. I don't mind having it around to finish off but I probably won't buy anymore. I will look for another dark roast from the brand.

Smooth for Ice Coffee
Really pleased with these coffee beads. I’ve been brewing overnight refrigerated ice coffee, and these beans have resulted in a great, smooth drink.

Amazing flavor!
This coffee is delicious! Perfect grind for a Keurig. I studied in Costa Rica one summer and fell in love with the coffee. I have tried other brands, including purchasing a brand that I bought in the grocery store there years ago (it was NOT the same), but this coffee reminds me of what I had when I lived there. So rich with amazing flavor!
