I bought this lighting system to use in my studio / office where I make lots of broadcasts, for Zoom talks and also for a Patreon channel. I have been using a simple set of IKEA lights with cheap elastic diffusers over the ends, but the results have been 'acceptable' shall we say.The lights have comprehensive stands and the panels are a great array of LED lights. The power supplies are small and unobtrusive and they also take DC batteries, which I have on another set of panels, so it was a great option for me should I need to put the lights into areas without power.Setup is easy. The stands are a little on the thin side, but then again they are designed for studio use and not to be taken outdoors. None the less, I would do this if I needed a set of outdoor lights. All that would be needed is to keep the centre of gravity lower, avoiding maximum height.Having coloured LEDs is really something. The fact that the colour temperature and hue can be changed is a revelation for me. I have two lights pointed in my direction with softer warmer hues from one lamp and a neutral colour from the other. The result is a gentle warm mix of tones.I can also control all of this from the included remote control, which gives me tabletop access if I wish to change anything. This is so important - I can sit and look at my video feed and then change the colours and intensity remotely. This means it is so easy to control the colours and brightness, all without moving any from the camera.The build quality of these lights is good. The plastic is not the highest of quality, but I do not feel that this compromises the design in any way. I would see these lasting a long time.Overall, I thoroughly recommend these lights for studio use and more. I have yet to take them out on a shoot, but the dimmer and colour changes mean I am really interested in heading outside with these too. They are light, portable and reliable so far.Excellent quality and build from Samtian.

The media could not be loaded.  ►These came packed properly and the whole set full.What do you get?2 x tripods2 x main units2 x softboxes2 x powercables1 x remote control2 x diffusers►Build in quality?We all know the quality in most of the cases comes with the price but not always. In this particular case the units feel ok, they seem durable, the tripods the same(the type of model that folds regular, more solid). Max height 190 cm, please be aware while the tripods are set to the highest height I strongly recommend to use something heavy to place at the bottom for more stability.►The units?Not that big as expected but it makes sense why. They come with the barn doors already installed which for some are useful to control the light, for me particularly are good but I dotn use them so often so I prefer to remove them.There are 160 leds which deliver the sufficient quantity of light for what I need. As I said, I use these mainly as fill lights.The power is 24W each so 48w in total, mind though, while the white diffusers are on the power will be less, same thing happens when you attach the softboxes.►The softboxes? Takes just a couple of minutes to understand how to set these up and after you dont even have to unfold them because they take just a bit of space. These are very practical specially while shooting portraits, products, when you want that nice soft, creamy light. To put these on is easy once you get how to do it.Personally, I dont use the softboxes that much, I prefer the harsh shadows so no diffuser for me.►How to operate these?The set comes with a remote control which is helpful when you cannot reach the lights or for commodity. The remote comes withyout batteries and its simple to use, pretty straight forward from the beginning.►The app!!!You have to download the designated app which works both on android and ios and inside you will see plenty of options to change the intensity, the color temperature, the modes and tou can go very specific with the hue and saturation. I think there are endless variations of colors if you use the app.►The colors? Bright and clear, not oversaturated as I have seen on other lights.There is a clear separation between blue and purple which in most cases is a bit confusing.Of course, you can adjust the saturation of the colors and dim it until you get a very bright fresh color. For me, this is the most interesting and beneficial feature these light have, the ability to get so many light colors in one go!►Does it work on batteries?YES, it does. Mind, the NP-F batteries that these light uses are not included in the pack.I have tested the lights on batteries, basically the same things as they are plugged, so all fine.►How long does it take to pack them?Well, depends on your ability, in my case takes around 5 min to put everything in the bag properly, I am used already this is why I find this easy.►Final thoughts about this set?I would say it a good product for small places, to use as fill light, as additional light for multiple scenes. Beautiful portable light and value for money as it worth every penny.I got it the next day which was the first wow for me and well packaged too. Stand, light, remote control, App and softbox too all in great condition and work as they should.

This is fantastic value lighting setup. The panels themselves are really small and we'll laid out and only have two function knows on the back of the unit. These control all functions of the lights including activating the Bluetooth connection by pressing down both control knows together. This then allows you to use your phone to control all functions of the lights although the kit also comes complete with its own remote. The setup also includes fold up soft boxes that attach over the barn doors on the light panel as well as included stands which are not the best but will do the job as the lights are not at all heavy. Overall I think the lighting quality is excellent for the money and will work great for YouTube studio setups or some smaller portrait projects. They also have the ability to add battery packs on the back to use wirelessly or outdoors although I did not have the battery's available to test how good they are for this purpose. But I am sure they would work just fine as they performed great indoors. Overall these are a great product that are easy to use and the units themselves are well made . Would definitely suit you if you have your own youtube studio or similar. Recommended product 😃👍✌

The light itself is great for the price and does a fab job of illuminating a Zoom call. The problem is that the suction cup (its more reliant on an adhesive, so suction is the wrong term) falls off a few minutes after being attached to laptop. Incredibly frustrating, paticularly when it happens mid call. What a shame!
