Works like a champ!
I got the last one that this supplier had. Called a coyote in on the second time out in the mountains using the jackrabbit distress call. Sounds great and has a great range. Small and compact but still has range needed to get the job done. I will not buy another brand.

Awesome call for the money!!!
Really well made e-call! It states to have a clear line of sight, but I have been in a blind with the walls covering the call out to 125 yards and it would fire up with no issues! Great call for the money and easy to use and set up!!

Very well made..but.
For starters the good: Good sound output. Loud enough. The remote works very well and at a distance! I've used it out of direct line of site, and it works great, but watch that you don't go more than 30 or 40 yards. Otherwise, direct line of site has been good up to the 100 yards I've used it so far. It's light and compact. In fact I was quite surprised to see how small it was when i received it. It's easy to use. No fancy set up, and downloading other sounds from web sites are a snap. Just read the directions. In the five times I've used it, I called in a fox, a coyote and crows using their specific calls. The not so good: At the price point, it should at least include lanyards and a carry bag. Seems a bit picky, but there ya go. All in all, it's a decent deal.

Highly recommended caller.
Wow! I am super impressed. The caller I had been using for years finally died. It used a rechargeable battery and cassettes and did the trick for a long time but alas, it succumbed to the inevitable. I needed to get something new and read the reviews of this caller and decided I would give it a try. For $99, I thought I couldn't lose. What a GREAT caller. I took it out this morning to go crow hunting and its sound was every bit as loud and as effective as my old Johnny Stewart, which I loved. The crows came in within minutes and circled me like the movie "The Birds" which is the same experience I have basically always had when using my old caller. The sound was very crisp and clear and it was nice not being limited to where I put it, based on the limitation of the speaker wires like my old caller. I think if one buys this, they will not be disappointed. I highly recommend it.

Remote is horrendous
I thought I was getting a great deal on a fox pro for $99. First evening I took it out I had a problem with the remote working very well and as soon as the sun started going down I couldn't read the remote. I spent more time trying to read it and getting it to work than watching for animals. I had an animal run right by the caller and didn't see it until right when it was disappearing in the woods. Needless to say I sent it back. Better off with an inferno or higher model. On the plus side it did sound good.

Good call, you NEED to use Lithium batteries in the cold, NOT ALKALINE
Sounds are pretty good, volume is alright. I'd say effective for a 300-500 yard radius. You need to use rechargable AAs to power this... Standard alkaline batteries can't supply enough power to the call when it is below freezing. The call just turns off and you have to walk out to the call and reset it to keep calling. Once we switched to rechargable (lithium ion batteris have better temperature resistance than alkaline) we had no problems in the cold.Remote sucks imo, but its useable. A nice call for the price point for the weekend predator hunter. If predator hunting is your primary game, spend more money on a better call. If you're like me and coyote hunt in between the other seasons (deer, turkey), then this is good enough.

Battery connector broke
Poor range between the remote and the speaker. It worked well at first but then became glitchy and sporadic, even after moving within 50 yards and in clear sight. Thinking it was the battery, I went to swap it out and one of the 9volt battery connectors on the remote broke off. Of course this happened right at the 30 day return window, so guess I'll get to test out FoxPro's customer service. Very disappointed.Update: FoxPro repaired the unit under warranty. Great service!

Easy to use and brings em in close!
Bought the Wildfire 2 and Black Jack accessory. The unit is easy to setup, and easy to use. I recommend trying it out before you get to the field, so you can1) know and be comfortable with the layout of the remote control. Don't want to push the wrong button in a low light condition!2). Hear for yourself the volume levels for each sound you plan on using in your set(s).3). See for yourself how the Black Jack works (awesome action!)4) Practice setting the unit in the field. Not hard but I practiced so I could do it quickly and quietly. The set I did this week on some semi-urban/semi-rural coyotes near Sacramento, it only took about 3 minutes of calling before a young female showed up. I used the jack rabbit distress call at a very low volume (calm morning, with just a gentle wind). She was fascinated with the Black Jack and presented a beautiful broadside at less than 30 yards. One shot with some 00 buckshot and she dropped. I'm confident her attention to the call and decoy allowed my hunting partner to mount his gun and pivot for the shot without being seen.Great product and I can't wait to do more sets.I did get a little camo blind bag to keep it all secure and easy to transport.Highly recommended.Good luck!
