It’s easy to see why Kiwi Classics dominate Craghoppers’ best-sellers list. The fabric tech is impeccable – from the splashproof, sun-protective and insect bite-proof fabric to the practical 9-pocket construction. But it’s the outstanding fit and comfort that delights new enthusiasts every season, leaving other brands in their wake. Designed for action and built to last, they’re the last word in serious hiking circles.

Great all round trousers.
Love these trousers, when not wearing shorts i live in these. Great wind proof, and mildly water proof. Which dry quickly when wearing them. Very comfortable and good value. Nice and warm in colder weather and cooler in summer. Fit well, and wash up well.

Amazing Trousers worth every penny 5/5
5/5 really good walking trousersThis is the second pair of trousers I have purchased. Worth every penny. I'm a fulltime dog walker so I'm looking for durable clothing. The first pair I've owned lasted 3 years (I walk between 14-31km a day). The first signs of wear, were slight discoloring in the material, then a rip to the cargo pocket (from an eager dog). I did get some small tears in the material from thorns, no doubt. But they remained small, similar to what you'd expect from ripstop (they aren't btw). Whilst I wouldn't consider them water resistant/repelant as labelled, they do dry really fast; with your own body heat.Reinforced heel cuff (bottom hem, rear), is brilliant. Functional belt, that does periodically move around a bit. Cargo pocket split into 3 sections. Mobile phone holder, main pocket and side pocket. Using the mobile phone pocket does pull down on your trouser leg, but i generally use it for doggy bags. The side pocket is good for documents, maps etc. Main pocket is practical for everything else. The waist pocket is divided into two. I found the zipper on the waist pocket and the rear bum pocket a little temperamental. But the new trouser zipper equivalents seem to flow smoother. The rear pockets I never use, so I have little issue with them, they still work fine.My only fault i could find with these is in regards to the short leg (I take a 36s). The reinforced doubled material on the knee section of these trousers sits low. I find my knee is actual rubbing on the seam of the stitching. But the material is soft and it doesn't bother me at all when walking.Comfort wise, I like them. Nice soft, light material, that doesn't scratch and does dry fast after a rain shower. Functional. Nice coloring, though I would love a woodland brown.5/5

Good bit of kit
These are one of my goto's for decent comfortable trousers, decent stiching so the first time you kneel down it won't split at the crotch and decently large pockets for all the shinys you might pick up on adventures.

Buy them, you'll never need to re-order.
Ordered 2 pairs in August 2021. Bought them as work wear and expected maybe 6 months use out of them at most. Three and a half years later they still look and feel like new. These trousers have been worn, washed, dried at least 1000 times now and are still the comfiest trousers I've found for an 8 hour shift. They iron well, wash well and dry in minutes in the dryer. If you happen to get caught in the rain, these trousers will dry from body heat in a matter of minutes. They've been snagged, clawed at, pulled through thorn bushes and generally highly abused in the past 3 1/2 years, but you wouldn't know that from looking at them. As for pockets, even the pockets have pockets and I only just recently found 2 more pockets I had no idea were there. Would order more, but I doubt I'll ever need more than one for wearing and one in the wash. Will update if they ever fail me, we could be a long time waiting though.

Great trousers with a couple of serious flaws that could be so easily corrected
I have bought four pairs of these trousers over the last three years and nothing on them has changed. They are excellent for light work and hiking, with plenty of pockets but with three serous flaws which would be so easy to rectify... I will keep buying them and no doubt keep finding the same problems.Things I do like about them:1. The material: It dries quickly and seems tough enough.2. The fit: I am short and fat and not many trousers fit me3. The pockets: Multiple zipped pockets including front side pockets big enough for a modern phone.4. The belt loops: Very few trousers have enough belt loops nowadays - these trouser have seven, and they are large enough for a decent width belt. Now the things I don't like:1. The supplied belt: It is a cheap and skinny webbing thing that in no way fills the loops, and rolls up during wear and twists it's self around. It has a friction lock for adjustment which doesn't stay put and which leaves some of it's length hanging free.2. The waist button: This falls off within a couple of months. Of course it ends up taking more strain than it should due to the crappy belt, but they have (so far) ALWAYS fallen off and none of my other trouser buttons do...3. The bit of seam between the bottom of the zip and the crossing seam (between the legs) seems to split rather to easily. Even though I am fat, none of my other trousers split there.Overall I will continue to buy these trousers, and immediately throw the belt away, and expect the failures mentioned above. If they had a decent belt, and the button was attached better, they would definitely have had five stars from me

Capable, and a bit flarey!
Quite impressed with these, I bought them last minute for a camping trip in Scotland, so rain of course was always expected. Comfortable and seemingly quite water repellent. My only complaint, and I see it from other reviewers as well, is they are quite wide at the legs, a bit flared, as the style goes! Not super noticeable when wearing boots etc, but I would have expected a slight cuff. Will get use of them for sure!
