Zack Snyder’s Justice League

Oh boy, this movie is great! 4 hours and I never fell asleep or looked away from the screen once, every character gets enough screen time and the screen time they get is excellent storytelling, the pacing and transitions of the different parts of the movie move at just the right speed to keep you interested in what happens next, AND this version is R rated! Every fight has just the results you'd expect and add just the right impact to the events unfolding minute by minute. If you think ahhhh I don't think I can sit through 4 hours of Justice League, I can tell you that you will enjoy every second. The original movie and this cut of the movie are night and day, and if this version had made it into the movie as the original release DC movies would be seen in a different light today. This is DC's successor to Marvel's success, and this is actually what I think DC movies need R ratings, DC has different characters than Marvel does and DC's magic is with R rated storytelling because what works with Marvel - comedy and a balance of tragedy and levity, DC shine with brutality and raw realness. So buy this movie, you won't regret it and get some popcorn and soda or whatever you enjoy because you are in for a very good movie night with this one.

Not just longer for the most part an entirely different movie you could see where he was headed when Josh we didn’t totally sabotaged it because he works for Marvel in Disney everybody’s failing to see that this completes one of the finest superhero trilogies on par with any superhero movie not saying it’s better than everyone but I could go to the tower with any Man of steel Batman Superman the ultimate car because it was edited differently and made more sense and this which leads right into Aquaman far far superior glad to hear HBO sign Ben Affleck to be Batman again hope for the future of the DC franchise this is where it was supposed to head not Shazam and let’s sell a bunch of toys how about let’s just make a good good movie and people will want the products because it was a good movie not because it was marketable. I Cannes we all grow up with should have varied stories some lighthearted some more sophisticated and grown-up we all grew up with these characters we expect to believe them in some kind of reality-based fashion real life Hass to happen to him just like the rest of us much respect for HBO taking a huge chance at making a fine product I could not wait to purchase on Blu-ray product is as advertised once finally delivered But be careful when you hit send the price seems to fluctuate by half day today I unfortunately paid twice when it was the next day and now it’s back up to what it was when I paid for it I’ve complained about this but wasn’t offered a refund in anyway even though I hadn’t received the product and the following day it was on sale for half the price but whatever I ordered it it came as advertised no flawless would definitely purchase Just wait for one of the cheaper days

I can't really add anything new to this...this movie is AMAZING, and I'll be watching it tonight now that it finally arrived. I do want to address something in the specs of the listing: Media Format : Import, ***PAL,*** Subtitled, 4K I've highlighted "PAL" there...don't really know why this is listed as "PAL". I'm technologically unsavvy about this. These Blu-Rays play fine on my HDR-capable machine which is US made and *without* being able to read the PAL format. This definitely plays on US machines and, unless HDR machines are non-PAL along with region-free, "PAL" shouldn't even be there. Reason I mention this is, the listing stating that this movie is in PAL kept me from buying for a time before I decided to just risk it and I'm happy to say that it plays FINE here in the US despite being listed in the specs as "PAL". Don't let the specs stop you from buying this...it DOES work here in the US. :)

This movie was the perfect culmination of the Snyder-verse. I do wish we would get part 2 but I am fine with the way this ended. WB execs hosed the fans so bad over this franchise that I'll never pay another dime to watch anything they put our. I have Man of Steel, BvS, and this movie and that's all I need.

This was such a great moive ! . Zack zender is such a talented director to make such a perfectionist moive like this . When is was younger I used to love watching the cartoon justice league animated series . Now seeing the director to this movie turn this moive into something epic and unforgettable was to thrilling ! . When I heard they were remaking a more better extended version of this movie I was so excited I did not know what to do . At first I really wanted to watch this with my friends at a theater but I found it was onily on hbo max . It was a good expiearnce watching the full 4 hours of this flim I was so glad they made a better version then the last one of this . Amazing work !!👍🙌🏾😎👏🤩😀🤭

If I were to rate this on the movie alone it would easily be five stars. The story was much more coherent than the theatrical version. The main villain was far superior to Steppenwolf and more well known. The visuals were 100 percent improved. If this were the theatrical release it would have been far more successful. The reason I took off a star is actually because of the actual blue ray disc. For the first five minutes it couldn't decide whether it was 1080p @24hz or 2880x1080, so it kept switching and glitching. It settled down after 5 minutes. My other gripe was that it was presented in a 4:3 format, apparently to preserve the integrity of the director's vision. In order to preserve the integrity of my vision I used the zoom 2 feature of my projector to fill as much of my screen as possible. I didn't set up a 154 inch screen just to watch half of it wasted on nothing.

Had it not appeared on Amazon I might not had been able to acquire it, and didn't know until much later its slated US Blu-ray release. One of the best superhero movies I've seen in ages, and easily for the genre as a whole. The 'real' Justice League movie and a reminder of the importance of post-production and the difference it makes to a movie. And reminder of studio sabotage and how it can kill a movie. Worth the 4-hr runtime and a proper epic at that. A best movies don't need mass appeal, but they do need support in ensuring when visions needs to be respected.

I loved 300, but most of Snyder's DC movies left me cold. When I heard Joss Whedon was going to finish Justice League I was excited because I've been a fan of his for years. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the finished product when it came out. I ordered this Blu-Ray without watching it on HBO/Max and all I can say is: WOW! This version is far superior to the original. Most, if not all, of what I disliked about the Whedon finished film is removed. Apparently his changes were the problem. The Flash in Snyder's film is not so neurotic and cowardly, and Batman is much more like Batman. Every member of the League is much better here, than in the original. The movie is a little long, but I have no problem with that. I'm now a Snyder fan.

My fav superhero move of all time

Well I am sure many who read this have already seen Zack Snyder's Justice League and know the story of how WB and members of DC films and Joss Whedon destroyed this film. The theatrical cut felt like a cheap, cheesy, Saturday morning cartoon with many jokes falling flat. Firstly the opening of the cell phone video gave a clear warning of what was to come, combined with the the cheap looking pre credits scene that rushed everything and lacked scale. The rest of that film had underdeveloped characters that you never cared about, incoherant scenes, bad contintinutiy and rounding it all off with a very anti climatic ending. speaking of the ending I hated with a passion THE RED SKY! And Steppenwolf had one of the worst character designs in modern films (He was also very 1 dimensional who did not seem like a threat) I could go on and on but after I saw the film at cinema I quickly jumped on the bandwagon and signed the petition #Release the Snydercut not long after watching this butchered mess..... Well thankfully as we all know WB caved in and gave Snyder 99% control (shame on them for not letting him have his original Green Latern cameo) and what we have is in my opinion one of the best Comic Book Superhero films ever made and seeing how beautiful and epic the film is blows my mind. Ray Fisher's Cyborg is now the heart of the film, Steppenwolf now looks awesome and is fully fleshed out to the point you really understand his reasons and gone is the RED SKY. The film is 2 hours longer but doesn't feel 4 hours quite the opposite. The whole look is beautiful with an amaizng dark palette, the whole story feels epic and it now feels part of the original DCEU. I will also point out Junkie XL's score is magnificent (Danny Elfman's music actually wasn't bad but it didn't feel it belonged) and it really adds so much emotion and adrenaline to this magnificent film. In regards to the disc this 4K film really does shine. I hoped it would be on 1 disc but I know 4 hours would be tough on a 100GB disc so the film is split ont 2 discs with Disc one having PARTS 1, 2, 3 and 4 and Disc 2 having PARTS 5, 6 and the Epilogue. All I will say is picture quality is STUNNING with deep blacks, bright highlights and when primary colours appear they pop off the screen and HDR is amazing. Grian haters will be pleased to know this film has very minimalistic grain. One thing many should know about the picture is that it is in the 4x3 aspect ratio. This is may put some people off but just know that you are seeing 'more' image then if it was cropped to 16x9. Snyder shot the film in 35mm open gate and this is what you see. Personally it never bothered me as I watch many classic films from the 30s and 40s pre-cinemascope but for some this may be a problem hence why i am writing this for those that don't realise this is how the film looks. If you are fine with that then you will for sure appreciate the gorgeous images and will be amazed at the detail and stunning filmic look just as Man of Steel and Batman V Superman. The sound is Dolby Atmos and as one expects sounds amazing whether you have a home theatre system or just your TV this film's sound design like the other films in the series before it which is wide and an atmospheric but also great little sound details in the quieter moments really adds atmosphere and Junkie XL's Operatic Score shines. A fantastic mix. The only extra is a a nearly half hour long mini doc of the film which doesn't get into as much detail as you want but says what it needs to but it is no surprise as doubt WB would want to have a true piece about the film. I would give it 10 to 20 years until we hear more truths of went on behind the scenes but this little featurette will do for now, however we have the film and to me that matters most and just glad Snyder got to finish this and hope someday the power heads of the studio let him finish his Epic Saga . A 5 star film on a stunning 5 star 4K presentation.
