AfterShokz Aeropex Wireless Bluetooth On Ear Headphone with Mic (Solar Red)

Battery backup not enough for full day. They should've made it last atleast 15hrs considering the size of this thing and the price tag. Sometimes it would literally scream statics and reboot on its own. The headphone has superb sound quality and very very low latency, which is way better than most Bluetooth headphones on the market. Multipair Connection is a sham though. Even though I can pair with 2 devices but I am allowed only to listen to one device =_=. Needs turning that device off in order to listen to other device. Most disappointing things is they didn't allow saved pairing with more than 2 devices. Edit 1: Not even 6months and multifunction button acting weird, making it impossible to use. Filed for replacement. Will update on their customer service later. Edit 2: It has been over a month since I've successfully delivered the item to their local distribution center following their direction. Haven't received replacement yet. They asked me to wait more. Atleast they replying me. Still I'll sue them if they decide to scam me. Will update again. Edit 3: Apperantly the exported unit got stuck at custom. Lost hope then and there. Chose to get refund.

I have been eyeing the Aftershockz since the Trekz version but the price tag seemed unjust when you have cheaper generic versions available. I ended up purchasing 4 generic bone conduction headsets since 2018 costing me a total of 10000. Everytime one headset would fail either because of the battery or connection breaks in one channel, I would just pick up another cheap generic bone conduction headset. But this came with a price far greater than the cost; frustration, procastration of buying a new unit, delivery delays and the most important... electronic waste! Finally it made sense to go with a premium priced brand because quality matters. I picked this up for 13999 which is decent for Indian market (import duties and all that). Reviews on YouTube are overly positive with battery and product life. PRODUCT REVIEW: The Aeropex model is an absolute beast! Battery: - It has a 110mAh battery. Charges at 0.08A and takes exactly 1hr 30min to charge from 0-100% - Battery life is crazy. I literally played white noise at full volume for 16hours straight. However in real-life usage scenario with calls and all, it gave around 10-12hours which is still way more than the advertised 8hours. Sound: - Sound is crystal clear and easily audible above 30% volume (for me). - The highs and lows are present. Bass is definitely there; with ear plugs the bass amplifies to a surround sound effect but lets be honest, we aint using ear plugs with open-ear design headsets. - Talking about the sound leak within a 4ft radius: -- Above 70% volume, sound leak is very obvious -- At 60%, sound leak is similar to an in-canal at 100% -- At 50% sound leak is hardly noticable -- At 40%, sound leak is negligible; I can secretly listen to music at the dinner table or a meeting and still have a conversation - Depending on my environment, I stay between a range of 35-80% of the volume - Sound is clear even in a breezy environment outdoors Mic: - PRO: Dual mic for noise cancellation definitely works well. Voice is crystal clear. - CON: Mic performs poorly in an heavily breezy outdoor environment. I had to hold my hand to shield the mic hole while talking. Sound quality... using this product from 2021.. excellent performance... I want one help now..i am residing at arakkonam...near Chennai..I want the customer service centre..my headphone is half broken...near the ear...but still working....I want to.repair it

If you have used AfterShokz before, then you need to know these are lighter, the vibration is substantially lower, and the quality of sound is better. Though I have not tried it, I would not listen to Eye of the Tiger with this but would be happy with anyone from Arjit Singh to Shakira. for new users, If you are running, walking your dog, or want to hear someone call you out at work while playing music. This is the choice. This is not an alternative to Bose. But Bose or any in-ear phones are worst when you walk your dog or run.

It is a purposeful buy for me. Pros 1. Bluetooth connection is super as it connects instantaneously 2. Quality of materialnis good. 3. Around the neck ensures product doesn't fall off. 4. Ears don't pain even if you use for say 4 hrs continuously 5. Product is smooth so it feels good 6. Very good battery life and in fact charging also is very fast Cons (being very critical to be honest) 1. Sound quality is not great if you are outside. 2. When you are speaking on phone using this, people have difficulty in hearing as the noise cancellation is very poor Outdoor 3. Pouch is not great looking If you are looking for a headphone at gym or cycling then don't think twice. Go for it

I have to say that I was a bit sceptical while ordering this piece of technology. But I am quite pleasantly surprised with the way it has grown on me. Firstly, for those who are looking at comparing this to a Bose / Sony, please don't. Its a completely different product meant for a runners / cyclist. I ordered it for my outdoor runs, its a complete delight, well balanced around the ears and decent sound quality. Its so light that you don't feel any discomfort while exercising / cycling. Moreover, I also started using it for my office calls from home, its links up to my Phone and Laptop quite seamlessly and can be worn for hours together. The battery quality is superb and will last you for 2.5 days straight on regular calls. I tried using this in my car as well, however due to cabin sound it wasn't so effective, given that I have a Diesel, but I am very sure it is going to work like a breeze in a Petrol vehicle, that is if you can afford to buy petrol @ 100 + during these days. Go for it...

The product is super, for what I want to use it for. Don't think you will get high volume of high quality sound out of it. If you want more volume you have to put earplugs is. But for pleases with lots of sound these are ideal in combination with ear protection. I also like that when I am running I can still hear what is around me. Minus parts is that i ordered with this supplier and paid for it, and days later I get a message that it is out of stock. So had to buy it for a other supplier

In MHO these bone conduction headphones have great great sound , instantaneous pairing , are light weight (I have turned them off in order to do something , and then found myself looking for them ,forgetting I am still wearing them ), they have a comfortable fit, they are great if you are out in the rain, and I LOVE not having something stuck inside my ears that I have to worry about falling out. They are also great if you have cats lol ( I had a pair of the air pod type ....which went missing because my cat got hold of the case , got the ear pods out .....and the rest is history...they are no more), The cats have no interest in trying to play with these ( just don't leave the charging cable lying around! - although they do come with 2!!) They came well packaged and with a silicone rubber case, as well as the headphones and 2 magnetic charging cables. I am very happy with this purchase...and I love the red.

Sono un audiofilo e se dovessi giudicare il suono darei circa 6, ma secondo me sono da giudicare per il contesto e lo scopo al quale sono rivolte. L'idea di ascoltare audio ed avere le orecchie 'libere' a volte è irrinunciale/necessario e questo compito lo svolgono egregiamente, inoltre secondo me non ci sono alternative. La qualità generale dei materiali e l'utilizzo delle funzioni é premium, l'audio manca degli estremi di banda ma lascia stupiti per la spazialità e la tridimensionalità che in certe situazioni riescono a dare. Una stranezza é che turandosi le orecchie, la parte bassa dello spettro audio aumenta in modo spropositato (?!) dando corpo al messaggio audio ma soffocando la parte alta. Se vi serve un prodotto del genere e non mirate alla qualità hi-fi della musica, non resterete delusi da questo 'oggetto'. Il consiglio che posso dare è che se non vi serve l'impermeabilita, puntate pure sulle OpenMove, risparmiate un bel po' di soldi e la differenza sui bassi è praticamente impercettibile.

très bon son, sans basses bien sur, mais tout à fait agréable en utilisation ordinaire, avec toutefois un niveau légèrement insuffisant. L'ergonomie est hélas pénalisée par la longueur excessive de l'arceau qui rend le casque plutôt inconfortable, notemment sur un oreiller.

Habe einen Kopfhörer für Sport (Laufen, Radfahren) gesucht und bin sehr zufrieden mit den Aftershokz. Nutze sie jetzt seit einigen Wochen und möchte sie nicht mehr hergeben. Ich verwende die Kopfhörer auch zum Telefonieren und bin in diesem Einsatzbereich ebenfalls begeistert. Die Soundqualität lässt sich natürlich nicht mit anderen Kopfhörern vergleichen, das macht aber für die Zwecke, für die ich die Aftershokz einsetze, nichts.
