Too small
I use a large in other Flare earplugs. These "large" plugs went too fr into the ear canal. Not the same diameter as other Flare large.

Make sure you choose the correct sized foam plug!
I've been happily using the Flare Isolate plugs (with large-sized replacement Earfoams) for some years, but when I discovered Flare has apparently discontinued the replacements, I purchased these new Flare plugs instead. I took them out and mounted the pads, but was concerned because the fit wasn't as tight and the noise blocking wasn't as good as my Isolates. On careful inspection, though, I realized that the foam plugs I'd put on from the package were *slightly* smaller than others also in the package. (The difference was almost impossible to determine, and they were all packaged together, which was a challenge). Once I switched them out, the seal was fine, as was the performance. For those who buy these and think they aren't as large or well-fitting as earlier models, try some of the other foam plugs in the package, and remember to order large-size refills when you're ready.

They do the job of taking the edge off night time sound
Strange devices these. A little bit angular and at first mildly uncomfortable. Once you get used to them, and sort out your favoured mix of foam pads, they do the job at reducing but not removing night time noise, to the extent that you can get to sleep without being bothered by noise around you, but still hear loud sounds and the alarm when you need to. The titanium core makes them super robust (provided you don't lose them), and definitely as good as anything else out there. However, they come at a cost - the memory foam pads last for about 4 weeks max before they need replacing, which adds significantly to the cost over time if you want to keep them fresh, malleable and maximally sound-proof.

Rip off
Absolute rubbish in comparison to the original flare ear plugsWhy change a winning formulaThese are tacky. The instructions on the packet are so small you need a magnifying glass. Why would you need instructions anyway? The original products packaging was so much better with different size buds in separate packagesThe noise cancelling is totally inadequateWhoever’s decision to update the original product with an inferior version needs to re consider their judgementThis is just s disasterNot worth £2.99 let alone £29.99Mine are going back for a refund

Great ear plugs for sleeping
I have a pair of the isolate that they no longer do, in comparison, these do not block all sound like they do, but they block a lot of the sound and are very comfortable. I would often wake up with ear pain from the metal on the isolates, but not with these.I also feel more comfortable that they don't completely block out sound as I need to hear alarm in the morning or if my partner needs me.I highly recommend them.

Disappointed
Purchased these after gifting my old pair to a friend. Unfortunately the design has changed and these are nowhere near as comfortable as my previous pair. They are far too long and don’t sit in the ear well, even with the smallest buds on. Very disappointed, will now have to shop for an alternative 😩

Compete noise block and very comfortable
These are invaluable when staying away from home at hotels, no longer need to worry about noise.
