No problems using the crimper or the connectors
I bought the set to repair various wires that the new dog seems to think are delicious and fun. The crimper worked perfectly, and was easy to operate. The connectors themselves crimped fine, and shrank down appropriately with a heat gun set to high. I was very impressed at just how easy and fast the repair was, since the last two times I was trying to solder and heat shrink and frankly that was tedious as hell. Now I get to reinstall my fog lights with new wires. Can you guess why? At least this time it wasn't the ABS brakes. That sucked a lot. Not that you care, but you might as well get a chuckle.

Excellent tool for homeower or occasional use
The kit has a wide, useful variety of crimp connectors. They hold well, and the heat shrink seals very well and helps hold the wires under tension. The crimp tool has a gear assist, it would be tiring to use all day but an excellent value for the occasional user, like drones or ebikes.

Its decent with a bit of elbow grease
Its a decent kit for the price, and if you catch the crimp right, it makes a nice solid connection. The heat shrink is a nice touch too. However, I do have a few complaints about this tool. Sometimes, you wont grab the metal sleeve right, and it doesn't crimp right. The wire will slide right out, and the butt crimp is wasted. If one end crimps well to a wire, and the other end fails, you're screwed; you'll have to chop a bit of the wire off and try again (always be sure to crimp the most expendable wire first for that reason). And forget trying to cut the buttcrimp itself, I tried that and my dikes exploded, sending sharp bits flying across my garage and leaving the connector in tact (which is actually a really good thing when its properly connected)But my biggest complaint is how hard the crimps can be to make. Sometimes I have to put all my weight into making the crimp go all the way; one time I had to step on the handles to crimp a blue one. This thing could really use some better leverage; maybe some longer handles.Other than that, I consider it to be a great tool. It fits neatly into my toolkit and beats trying to solder every connection on a wiring harness. When properly crimped and heat applied to the buttcrimp, it can look like an OEM connection, but sometimes it just misfires

Watch those fingers!
Works really well, just don't get the tip of your finger crimped in there! Its not easy to hit that release one handed and you have to complete the crimp before it'll open again haha.

Connectors and crimping tool
Red connectors actually crimped tighter with blue die, once learned the connectors held tight

Very happy with the quality of the connectors and crimpers
Used these for a couple of connections on the headlight plug for my KTM dirt bike. Stripped the wires. Inserted the wires into the connector and used the crimper. It was very easy to squeeze and the ratcheting mechanism made for a secure connection. Then used a heat gun to shrink the connectors. Pulled on the wires to test and they were good and tight. Very professional looking connections.
