Charging in the case is very finicky - Update - 2nd try and earbuds work perfectly
This is an update to my review below. I received a 2nd pair of these earbuds from customer service. They contacted me because of the problems I was having with my original set. They offered me a refund, but I really like these earbuds with ear hooks, so I asked for a replacement pair instead. I have had the new pair for 2 weeks now and have not had a single problem with them charging in their case. They snap in and connect easily without all the finicky stuff I had to do with the old pair. Now, I would rate these much higher. I have had a couple times when they lost the signal with my phone in my pocket, but they reconnect again, so they might be a little finicky with where the phone is, but overall, super great. ********************************************** Original Review: I really want to like this pair of earbuds with hooks. The over the ear hooks solve the problem of ear buds falling out when I exercise. I can also leave them hooked over the ear but pulled out a little to listen to conversation around me when needed. They are comfortable to wear and I hardly notice them. I think the adjusting buttons are great, and only rarely do I have any pairing problems with my phone. I have had them for 5 months, and generally have had many good runs and experiences with them. As far as the ratings we are required to give for this, I don't have strong opinions on sound quality, so they are fine. I am unfamiliar with noise cancellation earbuds, so can't really rate them there either. My main problem is that the charging is pretty spotty. Starting on day 2, one of the earbuds didn't work. I found out that it hadn't stayed connected in the charging case and ran its battery down. (even though the strong magnets make it feel like it is securely in the correct place) Through several of these experiences, I have become a fanatic trying to get the earbuds to charge. I check to make sure the red charging light clicks on. It usually doesn't. I usually wiggle them and pop them in and out over and over trying to get them to connect. Often, I have to wipe the earbud and posts down to get it to charge. Sometimes I will get one to connect and then the other decides to turn on and I have to bounce between the two until they are both charging. Then I carefully leave the charging case flat and I am afraid to bump it. And still, I will notice that my phone is connected to the earbuds at times in the day, and sure enough, the earbuds are no longer in "charging" mode. They simply don't connect with the case very well, and I am always worried that even after I get them charging, they won't stay connected very well. Another problem with this is that if they aren't happily in the case charging, if I go to put it on, sometimes it won't connect to my phone. Then I have to start the whole thing over, wiping down poles and trying to get them to connect so I can pair them with my phone and go exercise. This process is overtaking all the reasons I like these earbuds. Consider a different situation if you haven't bought these yet. Otherwise, they are useable, you just have spend more time caring for them than any earbud you have ever owned.

After THREE years still work and charge great!!
Have had these earbuds for three years now and they are awesome. I needed an earbud with the hook around my ear as normal earbuds always fell out of my ears. These earbuds sound great and while not noise cancelling, I can hear what I am listening to, usually movie or a show while on an airplane. They stay on my ear, they never run out of power with me, even after 5-6 hours on a long flight. The case will hold a charge and recharge the earbuds and plugs in to a USB port to charge and charges pretty fast. They are light, do not bother my ears or hurt. Being black, they look as good as an earbud can look. And these best part is the price, so much cheaper then airpods and work great. I am still happy with these earbuds and highly recommend them.

There's better for the price
***UPDATE: Productech/TREBLAB reached out and wanted to "make things right," so they offered me a pair of TREBLAB Z2 headphones. I haven't used these enough to do a full review, but in brief use, they seem comfortable and have decent build quality for wireless headphones in their price range. Dealing with their customer service was unexpected and quite odd, but not unpleasant - let's call them "quirky." As they reached out to me directly and offered an entirely different free product with zero prompting from myself, I've bumped the rating on these up by one star, so please factor that in to your consideration of the X3 Pros. ____________________________________ To be clear, I don't use "sport" earbuds for sports or intense physical activities - I simply have issues with standard wireless earbuds popping out, so I prefer the ear hooks for extra stability. The earbud hooks on the X3 Pros feel a little cheap and are uncomfortable to wear compared to other sport earbuds in this price-range. The audio is fine for my purposes, but be warned - people on calls have told me the mics pick up ALL the background noise. The case is arguably the best thing about this - feels sturdy, has a useful little front display (that isn't always on, thankfully), and charges quickly. I haven't had a chance to really push the battery life, but it's FAR superior to my previous sport earbuds. Also, if you want to register the product, the process is quite strange. Most product registrations simply require you to give your name, email, product model number, date/place of purchase, and an order number. This involved a whole survey, with required questions about using the product and a yes/no question on if you're happy with it. Since most people who register their products (that I know of) do so immediately after purchase, they won't be able to adequately answer these questions. Seriously, who's waiting for a month of product use to register? Bottom Line: The X3 Pros aren't the worst, and I won't be returning them, but neither can I particularly recommend them. If there's a killer sale, and you want to use them for running or workouts, they might fit the bill, but do your research first. There's better options out there for the price. Also, the company is a bit odd, but clearly driven by customer satisfaction, so it's up to you to decide if all that adds up to an experience you want to have.

Great while they lasted
Lasted 5 years and 3 months of daily use of about 6 hours a day before completely dying. This past year the earbuds had trouble connecting via Bluetooth, trouble charging the case and it holding charge, ear buds holding charge/ lasting more than 30 minutes while using, and eventually the ear buds would not turn off and the case would not charge. Iโd still recommend these to anyone looking for good sound at the $50 price point.

Don't waste your money
**Update** 10/14/22. The company reached out through emails starting in August after I posted my review. I responded after a couple of weeks of their emails, and after a bit of back and forth for information, was shipped a replacement set. The customer service seems to be on-point, and the people that communicated with me seemed professional - I indicated I would not change my review unless the product worked better, and they didn't argue or even ask about it. Unfortunately, whereas the first set lasted 5 months or so, the replacement set only made it a bit over a month. The right earbud stopped taking a charge from the case. I found this out, AGAIN, at the beginning of a run when it wouldn't work. After fiddling with it at home and trying to reset it, recharge the case, repair, etc., I couldn't get it to turn back on. Maybe I'm unlucky and maybe it's not representative of the majority of the hardware they sell, but twice in a row is enough for me. As I said, I liked the product until it stopped working. For reference, I was only using them when I was running, 4 or 5 times a week, and they never got wet. Only moisture present was my sweat. Had them paired to a Garmin Fenix 7 and it worked great...until it didn't. I switched back to the Galaxy Buds2 I use for lifting until I find something else with ear hooks that works better. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Purchased in February 2022, started using in March 2022. The charging case lid is very loose and if you bump it the earbuds stop charging. I've frequently found myself with only one earbud charged at the beginning of a run because it came off the contact in the case. The case itself doesn't stay shut, and I had to use a rubber band to keep it closed. After 5 months of use the earbuds stopped pairing entirely. They now will not pair with either my smartphone or my Garmin watch. I had an older set of Treblab earbuds, XR500, with a wire connecting them, that I loved. They were indestructible and held a charge forever. I wanted to like these, because, for running, an earhook and the on bud volume control are invaluable. I thought I'd found a great deal because they are so much cheaper than the Powerbeats they are mimicking. Now I have an earbud shaped paperweight. It's a shame, because when they worked they sounded great, and if they had a better charging case and better durability they would have really had something here. I advise you spend more and skip these.

Random connection is annoying, and causes the headphones to die
These headphones are a great product, when they work properly. That is the key wording there, when they work properly. These headphones have been very frustrating for me. When I am done using these headphones, I dry them off and put them back in their charging case (which also doesn't last as long with the battery anymore). Then I would say that at least 60-70% of the time, they will just randomly reconnect to my phone when the charging case is near them. Due to that, I have had several times where I've gone to use them after not using them for a day, and one or both of the earbuds is suddenly dead because rather than charging (like it was supposed to be doing), it was constantly reconnecting to my phone. The reconnecting has even been invasive before like when i was on the phone but using my airpods for audio, they kept stealing the bluetooth connection from my airpods, and I had to manually switch the audio back over to my airpods probably 10 times in a 5 minute conversation. The charging case also doesn't last as long as it used to. When I first got the headphones it lasted well over a week before I would need to charge it again. Now it barely lasts 4 or 5 days, and I think that is due to the headphones trying to reconnect to my phone, and then recharging, and then reconnecting, etc. It's just super annoying. When these headphones are working, they work really well. They have great sound quality, and the silicon tips block out other noises pretty well. All of the buttons work effectively. The problem is that these headphones really only work properly like 30-40% of the time, so most of the time they are either slightly or extremely frustrating for me to use. I don't know if its just the pair that I got that is messed up, because they have a lot of good reviews (which is why I bought them in the first place), but for a $70 pair of headphones, I'm getting close to a year of using them, and from the beginning they have been having these troubles. I would expect better for a $70 pair of headphones. Hopefully this helps. Again, if they worked well all the time, I would be giving this review at least 4 stars, probably 5.

Good battery, not for bass heads, different fit from last version.
Sound quality is good. Bass is there but not super low or powerful fir the bass fanatics. Great battery life per ear but alomg with enough charges on the case to last me a few weeks at a time before having to charge the case. I use them 10+ hours a day 5 days a week and a good 4 hours a day on the week ends. Took aboit 2 weeks to drain the case to 50%. I charged my phone off of it from there and only got anout 20% of mybsamsung S22 charged. So it will keep your headphones running for a long time but only in an emergency will it give you much juice for your phone. Going camping soon and i will still take my other power brick for my cell phone charging. The fit is similar to the previous version that i had of the x3 pro. They came in a more square smaller case. Those fit a little better but these still work well and you can adjust hiw they sit in your ear enough so there isnt any ear fatigue. The still stay put very well thru intense activity amd sports activities.

Great for a motorcycle experience!
I misplaced my earbuds with a clip and bought these to replace them. My primary use is on my motorcycle, so needs to be comfortable under a tight-fitting full-face helmet. I generally only wear the right side when riding, this provides ability to hear road noises; they stay on nicely while donning or removing my helmet and provide clear and robust sound for music or talk radio. You won't be able to see my smile with my helmet on, but that is how these Treblab buds make me feel, well, that and the fact that riding in fair weather is exhilarating! My scooter (XMAX 300) has onboard controls for GPS and announces my route over the earbuds. I can also adjust the volume with hand controls, so do not need to access the touch controls on the earbuds, but the controls work fine for me when not helmeted. I have a pair of Treblab headphones, also, used for lawn care and gardening, outdoor activities, so I like the brand. Easy to pair, and the distance for unobstructed connection is easily 50 yards! I discovered this when I left my phone in my riding jacket that I had stowed under my seat with my helmet, walked a considerable distance away before I lost connection, a big improvement over the previous buds. Prime Day sale price made this an easy decision!

very nice sound quality
every thing about the is excellent except mic call quality, you sound fare away on the other side when using one headset, the quality is better when using both but not excellent, and it does not automatically connect every time maybe 85% of the time, left headset connect faster than the right on, but overall they do the job.

Disappointing regression from previous generation
Used the previous version of this product quite happily for two years before the batteries started wearing out and the case started cracking. So I purchased this latest version and now I feel regret. The buttons are gone in favour of touch which doesn't work properly and as a result I cannot control without grabbing my phone. Worse, the sound signature is truly awful and songs I love are sounding nasty. To be clear, I'm happy to spends HUNDREDS on a decent pair of wireless headphones but I NEED air hooks to keep the damn things on during physical activities. If anyone can recommend me a good alternative of true wireless with air hooks (or aftermarket ear hooks for a popular model) I'd be grateful.
