Synergee Commercial Super EZ Curl Olympic Bar Chrome, Black Phosphate and Red with Powder Coated Brass Bushings Excellent for Bicep Curls and Triceps Extensions

I was sick of my POS CAP curl bar with its sloppy Olympic ends. This came up and I saw that it had bushings/bearings. The price was really good, so I bought it. The bar came quickly and was very well packaged wrapped in plastic and then encased in a super duty cardboard tube. The bar is outstanding. The knurling is precisely placed on the bar with visual cues so you can place your hands evenly (not so important on a curling bar but still a nice touch). The Olympic ends have ZERO slop in them. I wigh all of my bars so I no exactly what I'm dealing with. This bar came in at exactly 20lbs. This is really what I would call a super curl bar with the more exaggerated curve in it. That gives you a little more choice in how you want to rotate your wrists while doing curls. You can grab it further out for a straight bar effect but it might be a little wide for some people. You can also grab the very center for a close grip like French Presses but on the very center of the bar there is no knurling. I would absolutely buy this bar again.

I really like the more extreme curves on this barbell and that is why it stood out to me. While I am doing preacher curls, the bearings on each end make it easy to rotate the bar. The unit seems solid and it fits my 2 inch plates great. This was packaged really well, they even coated the unit with a thin oil to prevent it from rusting on the way. It just took a couple of wipes and it was clean.

Love it. Packaged well. Knurling is just right. Ball bearings give it super smooth rotation. Great product.

I am so glad I bought this bar! I like the more exaggerated curls in the bar as it gives my wrists more relief when doing preacher curls and triceps overhead extensions. Also, when doing an overhead shoulder press, I am able to bring the bar down to my clavicles without having to move my head too much due to the large bend in the middle, which I love. The powder coat is quality too. There were not any scratches when it arrived and I have yet to damage it after using it for 4+ months now. If you're looking to add an EZ bar to your gym, I would 100% recommend this one!

I recommend this EZ Curl Bar. Pricing for it's level of quality and workmanship (both very high level) is outstanding. The bar is packaged VERY thoughtfully to protect it during shipping. Dense foam on the ends of the bar, very rigid cardboard two piece box. I purchased the Chrome finish because it is the most durable version and most resistant to corrosion or other surface damage from use. What impressed me right out of the box, besides the top shelf construction and finish, was the fact that the bar end needle bearings were well lubricated with a low viscosity oil (lower than 20 weight, in my opinion) and compared to three other Olympic type bars I own the ends rotated nearly friction free, and rotated with almost featherlight touch. Be advised, this bar will arrive covered with oil from the aforementioned bearing areas, a normal consequence of over-oiling them. This is an acceptable inconvenience, because I didn't need to oil those bearings like I've had to do with my other three bars I use. Clean off the oil with Brakeclean or other low boiling point organic solvent. Do not use Acetone or Lacquer Thinner.

Nick, as in pic, is sharp and damaging to hand; Had to clean the bar of black grease; The red paint could have been glossy and powder coated, in lieu of flat, to better resist soiling and scratching, and for better feel; all too negligible to make issues of give a less than excellent review. This is a beautiful and well constructed bar, smooth bearings, was well packaged, and the company is obviously caring, and proud of their product, as evident by the large-print enclosed invitation to call them if any damaged.

Bought this bar to replace an old ez bar that I have had for years. The quality is outstanding and heavy duty compared to my old bar. Love it and highly recommend it to anyone.

I am very happy with my purchase! These easy bars are perfect for curls and skull crushers. It arrived well packed and got a very nice weight to them! Feel verry sturdy and rugged.This is the second bar I buy from synergee, so far I’m very satisfied with the quality I get at this price.There is a bit of “play” in the bearings, but nothing to worry about, they roll smooth and I don’t think I will ever need to buy an other one as they look as sturdy as the ones at my gym, if not better.I would highly recommend this product!

What I like is its exactly what I have been looking for in a ez curl bar and I am looking forward great gains with my biceps and I also like the appearance of this bar.

It's great. Well made. Heavy. 28mm diameter which is perfect for me. Shape is perfect for my needs. Bought at $99.95CAN. Will probably last forever. My only 2 gripes but which are not a huge deal or deal breakers. The knurling is a bit aggressive. And the sleeves are 6.25". I would've liked them to be 7" at least. But knowing this I would've still bought this considering I can't find something better to suit my needs online.
