Be forewarned that the contents of this package are a few solid masses of lard-like substance and not something easily dipped and applied. You will need to break off chunks and then patiently and s-l-o-w-l-y rub the segmented pieces across body parts as the product melts, holding it carefully so it does not slip out of your hand. That noted, if it were creamier and easier to apply, it would obviously be more expensive, so, for the the price, I am content with the state of the product. The outcome was better than I expected. The fragrance is mild and the product truly applies like butter, leaving a light and silky layer that that traps in moisture for a very long time (and I live in the high-dry desserts of Colorado). I liken the product to coconut oil, but with a bit thicker substance. The different vitamins and nutrients provided in mango are a healthy addition to any skin regime.

1st of all, I weighed it on arrival and it does in fact contain 2 lbs of mango butter. It’s amazig how many products on amazon do not contain the amount stated. Amazing texture. The mango butter I tried last time was melted and poured into a mold. The fact that this is sliced in natural chunks makes it softer and easier to break apart. The smell is very pleasant, just a neutral plant fat smell. Will be purchasing here again when I need more. *edit* I ran out of this mango butter and bought some for a lot cheaper on Bulk Apothocary. BIG MISTAKE. The bulk apothocary one smells like chemicals and is much harder than the Oslove. I had to change my entire recipe to make it work, and it still doesn't smell good. Oslove Organics is by a mile the best quality mango butter I've found.

This stuff is the bomb for making skin creams and butters. It’s hydrating and smells amazing. A little goes a long way. I really like to combine it with shea butter and coconut oil for my skincare products.

Wow! No regret at all! Due to nice reviews on this product, I bought two at once. They were delivered right on time. I was amazed at the creaminess of the product, no seed! I melted it on a double boiler and whipped it together with my shea butter with other oils including essential oils. I made 2 cups, one for my hair and the other for my body. The difference are the essential oils in each container. Seriously, my body and over pampered 4c natural hair have never been happier and more moisturized. I wanted to return the second item thinking that mango butter should have some kind of scent like sheabutter, but my research shows that it almost has neutral scent which is exactly the way this product smells. The seller instantly replied that I should return it, but sorry, thanks, I changed my mind! I will use it later. Do not want to dabble into a wrong product all in the name of looking for smell/scent. I will highly recommend! Nice product and nice customer service.

Great product will buy again

I did not use this as soon as I got it, but when I did it was exactly what I needed. It was very soft and easy to work. I think that I might have even received an ounce or two more. Would recommend to everyone.

I’m a newbie when it comes to making body butters so this was my first time ordering the ingredients to make it, this butter was very soft in texture, it was easy to break apart melted and absorbed easily into my skin, had a very light smell not very noticeable in my opinion, I had the same problem as the other reviews I didn’t get a full 16oz but it was pretty close I got around 15oz the first time I ordered it but the second time i got the full 16oz so I’m happy with that, I will continue to buy from this brand and I love the fact that it’s black owned I love supporting black owned businesses.

Arrived the day it said it would. Fast shipping. I used this product in my diy body butter. Love it! Nothing wrong with packaging. Butter was easy to cut and measure out. I'll deff. be ordering this again.
