Five stars all the way!
I've been using the Cuisinart Stand Mixer with 12 speeds and a 5.5-quart bowl and I couldn't be more impressed! From the moment I unboxed it, the quality was evident. The sleek design not only looks great on my countertop but also feels incredibly sturdy. The mixer operates smoothly across all 12 speeds, offering precision for everything from delicate meringues to dense bread dough. The 5.5-quart bowl is spacious enough to handle large batches, which is a game changer for my baking sessions. Clean-up is a breeze as the bowl and attachments are easy to wash. Plus, the included attachments—whisk, paddle, and dough hook—are versatile and perform exceptionally well. Overall, this mixer has made baking so much easier and more enjoyable. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and powerful stand mixer! Five stars all the way!

Outstanding Value
Plenty of power, good quality accessories, quiet and easy to use. Everything about this mixer is substantial and reliable and the quality is as good as my Cuisinart food processor.

Outstanding mixer for everyday use
We purchased this 12-speed, 5 1/2-quart stainless steel mixer to make homemade rolls, cookies, breads, and cake. The mixer works well and performs better than expected. And it is easy to use, consistently performs, and is a great purchase.

Great value for a major name brand mixer. Compares to the Kitchen Aid for less money!
This mixer is such a great value for the money! The quality compares with Kitchen Aid, but at a better price. It also accepts their attachments. That makes this mixer versatile and adaptable compared to others. The overall size is outstanding. It doesn't take up much counter space or can be easily stored away until you need it. The mixing is so good. I've used it for bread, cookies, biscuits and many other baked items. Quiet and powerful. There are several color choices, so I got the red one for my kitchen. Looks great! I really like the large 5.5 qt stainless bowl. Easy to clean and holds plenty of ingredients. The plastic shield works excellent. It comes with the basic paddles, whisk and dough hook. I really like Cuisinart products and I have no issues with Kitchen Aid. I just think this is a great value when compared side by side. I bought this mixer with my own money. NO BS reviews from me. Just the honest truth and my personal opinion from real world experience with it. Could not find any flaws or serious issues with this mixer or the seller. Highly recommend.

Needs a grater but excellent build for
I mean really? A spiralizer over a grater? Dumb. I like it, but there aren't enough accessories. Realized i wanted to grate a bunch of stuff and cant. You can w a Kitchen Aide but thats also 2x the price for same build quality. This machine is very sturdy / heavy and handled dough easily. It isnt loud, either. I got the grey one and it looks very industrial if you want that look.

Highest quality and best value among consumer stand mixers
Just so you know, I purchased this item in October 2023 and this review is December 2025. Why 2 years later? Most reviews are 'out of the box' or otherwise written within the first few weeks of ownership. Other than the obvious, a lot about a product like this doesn't show up until lots of use. You will note the 5 stars. I would give it more if I could. Years ago, I had a Cuisinart food processor that did a good job with bread dough, but I wanted greater capacity. I moved up to a larger KitchenAid food processor which claimed it could knead bread. We broke one trying to knead bread dough with the KA FP. It was under warranty and KA sent a replacement. No better. I believe KA eventually sent 3 replacements and each struggled, overheated, and was a mess to clean up afterwards. Bread dough would end up in unreachable portions of the KA mixing bowl. That took away my enthusiasm for baking bread! No way was I going to make a long term use bet on KA for a stand mixer! Sorry to say that the KitchenAid of old is not the KitchenAid of today. Cuisinart, on the other hand, is still among the highest quality appliances. I am a serious bread baker to the point that I buy rye and winter wheat berries and mill my own flour from the berries and also from soybeans, whole oats and brown rice. This Cuisinart mixer has a strong motor, easily changeable mixing blades, and a big bowl. It has handled all of my breads with perfection. Never once overheated or struggled to keep turning through the stickiest of doughs! After preparing the dough, little of it remains on blade or bowl and what does remain is easily removable with a silicone spatula-- and easy to add to the rest of the dough. Everything--from blade to bowl and all of the utensils-- goes and fits into the dishwasher and comes out clean-- 100% free of bread dough remnants. FYI...I bought the ice cream adapter bowl and that also works well for making ice cream and gelato using this Cuisinart stand mixer. If you are reading reviews in search of a stand mixer for bread dough, specialty pastry dough, or anything else needing a stand mixer, I highly recommend the Cuisinart. Two-plus years after purchase, I am sharing this review having put the mixer through rigorous use. It has earned my highest marks in all categories.

Long-lasting
I bought this in 2020 for $174 and just sold it on Facebook Marketplace for $90. I loved it, but I got married didn’t have space for 2 mixers. It was so attractive and good.

Kitchenaid Convert
I got my first Kitchenaid from my dad for my 16th birthday. I am a serious baker with culinary training. It was well loved for over 20 years but the locking mechanism in the head finally gave out and I needed a replacement. I’d been hearing that the newer Kitchenaids aren’t as reliable as they used to be and I just couldn’t stomach the price tag, so I decided to take a chance on this one and I’m so glad I did! I waited a couple months to write a review because it is different and took a little getting used to. My favorite thing is how quiet it is! I tend to bake while my family is watching TV at night, and I can easily mix without bothering them now. The bowl is also bigger than the standard Kitchenaid. Last night I mixed a double batch of cheesecake - 8 blocks of cream cheese and 8 eggs - and it handled it just fine. Some reviewers mentioned the whisk doesn’t reach the bottom of the bowl, and technically that’s true if you only have like 1 or 2 egg whites in the bowl. But to be fair that’s not what it’s meant for. If you’re whipping 1 egg white you should use a hand mixer or a whisk. When mixing a normal size recipe I find it incorporates the ingredients very well. You will have to scrape the sides of the bowl sometimes but that is true of all mixers. I have found the dough hook to be more effective than the Kitchenaid. It incorporates flour more effectively and the dough doesn’t creep up the hook as much. It is lighter weight and easier to move, but heavy enough for stability. The head bounces a little bit when mixing and it concerned me at first, but now I’m wondering if it’s by design to keep from putting undue pressure on the motor when it meets resistance, like a chunk of cold butter. It’s hasn’t caused any problems. I like the smooth operation of the dial, and the slow start feature that helps prevent flour from flying when you turn it on. The splash guard is also really well designed. This did take some getting used to because you can’t lift the beater in and out without taking the guard off, but it’s very easy to remove & replace and it’s worth using because the ingredient chute works really well. The head locks in the upright position so you don’t have to worry about it accidentally slamming down. I really hope this mixer lasts a long time. I am very pleased with the quality!

One of my least regretted purchases from Amazon. A great product!
I was initially in the market for a Kitchen Aid stand mixer, but after waiting weeks for a model I had ordered, I was unceremoniously informed by Amazon, that Kitchen Aid could not deliver. I was initially deeply disappointed. Then, not one to dwell on past mistakes, I opted instead to order a Cuisinart Stand Mixer and what a happy decision that turned out to be. The Cuisinart arrived quickly, in mint condition. It is solidly built and nicely designed and looks great on my counter top. It is very simple to use and clean and very powerful. I have used it a few times to mix bread dough, which is the primary reason I ordered it, and it does this masterfully with power to spare. I have only owned this item for a month or so, so I cannot speak to its long term durability, but so far, so good. I am very happy with my Cuisinart Stand Mixer.

Excellent in performance. Good I've invested on this, though on a higher price point (got it for 22k) compared to the ones in 5-6 k this is solid and great in performance.
