Traditional Medicinals Organic Throat Coat Original, 96 Tea Bags

I drink this tea daily, sometimes multiple times a day, simply because I like and enjoy it. Tastes good, soothes throat, and is decaffeinated.

This stuff is fantastic for a dry throat. I hope they never stop selling it

Slipper elm is an acquired taste but I am absolutely addicted to this tea. I buy it in bulk. Sweet but not sugary. Savory but doesn't linger as an after taste. Literally coats your throat, which is great if your sick or in a job that requires a lot of conversation.

I've used this tea for years and I love it. I discovered it in high school (around 2000) when I read somewhere that Jonathon Davis of Korn used it before and after every show to help his voice. I don't know how true it is, but it got me curious. You can buy it in most supermarkets (I used to get it at Walmart before I stopped shopping there. Larger Krogers also sell it.) It's cheaper to order on Amazon more often than not though, especially through subscribe and save. It tastes of cinnamon and black licorice, which some people like, I think it tastes horrible. I brew it with an additional tea bag, either an herbal or chai tea. It is especially wonderful with peppermint tea. I sweeten it with just a hint of honey or agave nectar because I'm Southern and have yet to learn how to drink tea unsweetened. This tea works really well and very quickly. I am prone to strep throat and any time I get a tickle in my throat, I drink a pot or two of this and it's gone by the following morning. I use it the most when the seasons are changing and my allergies are acting up. I recommend this all the time to pretty much everyone. I used to work at Starbucks and drive them crazy when people came in with sore throats and I served them a hot peppermint tea and gave them a bag of this that I would always have with me just in case. I don't even know how many people I've got hooked on this stuff, but it's quite a few.

This is the best tea! It has a thick texture and licorice flavor. It does make my throat feel better and I love the taste. I've tied other brands that have similar tea mixes, but this one is the best!

Excellent tea for sickness and scratchy throats. However, my husband sings and he uses it to warm up his vocal cords and it works wonderfully! It has a pleasant and slightly sweet taste and is great on it's own, however, adding a bit of honey enhances the soothing properties.

Received Dec 2023 and expiration date on label is September 2026. I imagine this 6-pack will last me a year, year and a half. Actually I don't believe the ingredients lose their good effects. Might lose some aroma, but actually I don't think the main ingredient has much of an aroma - though YMMV. Anyway, I've been drinking this for years, definitely good for sore throats, actually good any time because it just tastes good. Does not absolutely need sweetener but you can use a little. If you are used to sweetening black tea (I mean the typical caffeinated kind), don't use that much sugar or sweetener - it will come out way too sweet. Because the ingredients in the tea bag already have some sweetness. I think it might be the slippery elm bark in there. Anyway, so this works out to around 20 cents a tea bag - still more than I'd really like to spend but way less than any other deal I've seen. Might try making my own using similar loose ingredients someday.

This tea is so helpful in just making me feel better overall. It tastes wonderful, and the flavor is just right, so that I don’t feel the need for added sweetness. I drink it even if I don’t feel under the weather, it just tastes good.

Throat Coat with slippery elm soothes my throat, so I can sing with the frog that moved in a number of moths ago. It's a Traditional herbal tea and really great.

I've had these for a long time as a frequent voice user. It is so amazing. What feels like 'tight vocals' become relaxed after I have a drink of this! Highly recommended.

Good product /Would order again

先日テレビ番組で「喉に甘いオーガニックティー」と紹介され、興味を持ち探し始めました。が、どこに行っても扱っておらず、店員さんに「スローコート」と言っても全く理解してもらえず困りました；； ネットでいくつか通販しているサイトを見つけたのですが、基本輸入品となるので、送料が高く、「軽い気持ちでトライしてみるには割高」と諦めていたところに、見つけたのがこの商品です。 選んだ理由の第一が送料が安いという事ですが、６個セット、もし味が好みでなかったらどうしよう、と多少の不安がありましたが、本当に美味しく、そしてテレビで紹介されていたように、喉に甘い不思議な感触に私も娘も虜になりました。 本当は毎日数回飲むのがベストなのですが、やっぱりお高いので、一日１回、夜寝る前に娘とのティータイムを楽しみながら飲んでいます。 親子して、季節の変わり目は咳が出てしまう体質なのですが、飲むようになってかなり穏やかになっています。 娘も「なんか寝る前にオーガニックﾃｨｰなんてカッコイイ」と気に入っています。
