Bought as a gift
I bought this for my daughter, a teacher, as I heard the author talking about it on the radio and decided it would make a nice gift for my daughter

Nothing new here!
Quite interesting at times but no great insights! Rather egocentric! I read it and passed it on as it wasn’t worth keeping in my library for further reference!

Everyone who teaches needs to read this
Resonated so much with my teaching stories. This is what real uk inner schools are like. I can’t recommend this book enough and it should be read by every wanna-be teacher.

Shows the value of recognition
This was a fascinating read. I loved reading about Andria's experiences and found her stories about the students both moving and inspiring. It shows the value of feeling seen and how the opportunity to be creative can encourage strength in students.
