My daughter thinks this is THE coolest toy. We mostly wanted it for the backpack so she can put her stuffies in it and see them through the the window. But she's a puppy fanatic so.of course she attached to this little guy. It kinda walks, it barked when she first opened for Christmas but it doesn't do that anymore. We've gone through 3 sets of batteries, most recent being today, they lasted 2 hours of not constant play. They were Duracell batteries. Now I look at it and the face is falling apart and it seems to be held together with cardboard? I don't get it. When she realizes this she's going to be devastated. Buy it for the other stuff, but ditch the cheap crummy dog.

I purchased this for my 7 year old granddaughter. The cat inside was a heavy plastic, I thought it would be stuffed but I may have missed that in the description. The carrier is very nice and seemed sturdy. The other items inside were ok. I decided that it was to young for a 7 year old and returned.
