I am so impressed by this little light. The thing is HEAVY for its size and obviously well built, with high quality materials. The packaging was also very well done- there's no way you're receiving a broken light. It's obvious the seller actually cares about quality and is hands-on. I have a couple NICREW classic plus lights. While I do love them, they don't feel as well put together as this. The light output is comparable with this vs my light on my 10 gal. Obviously the best part is that this costs half the price! It would be nice if this came in bigger sizes. For now, I have it on my 17" 2.5 gal for my wild betta. I know he loves the fact that I can dim this light haha. The dimmer is a welcome addition for sure. I absolutely recommend this light

Fulfills the good / cheap part of the triangle. Wasn’t really expecting it to be very feature rich at this price point, but it does have a basic inline timer which is nice. The gooseneck lets you get a good amount of height for extruding plant coverage. The gooseneck is very swivelly and I had a hard time getting it set right, but thankfully it doesn’t have to move. Works great for my little 4g Walstad cube. Nice little set and forget, would (and have) buy it again for other projects.

I couldn’t find a suitable light for my EcoBowl most of the attachments didn’t work. This lamp you can attach in several ways and lucky for me fit my bowl perfectly. I love the dimmer function and there is a timer you can set. And it is super bright! Just what I need for my plants. I would recommend .

While it worked it was nice... This light however stopped working in 3 months of 5 hours per day use... There is ZERO customer service available through the manufacturers site or Amazon... Essentially there is no warranty...

I got this awesome light. I was so happy with the brightness and the versatility of it. After a month of owning it, while doing aquarium maintenance i moved the lid and a side of the light touched the water for LITERALLY A SECOND before i pulled it out. It was working fine for 1-2 minutes and then it went it shut off and smelled like smoke. As you can see in the picture the corner of the light burned.. none of the LEDs work.. because it touched the water for a second.. even though this an aquarium light.. since it was passed the return period i couldn't get in contact with the seller and also because they were no more available on Amazon.. i hope they make it right and get me a replacement one. I really liked the light and would be willing to buy more if they fix the water sensitivity problem.

Seems pretty weak for a light advertised specifically for planted tanks. I bought this for my 3 gallon nano cube, so it’s not like I have a large tank. The neck does not bend very well either. This product is fine if you don’t need it for live plants. Had it not been advertised as a plant light and I didn’t buy it for that purpose, I probably would give 5 stars. If you want a light for a small planted tank and want to keep your costs down, go with the Aqueon Planted Tank light. While the Aqueon doesn’t have a timer or the bells and whistles, the plants are happy. Otherwise spend the money and go for a higher-end light.

I’ve been using this for a while now and I love how strong it is for my planted tank for such a small light! It’s growing everything really well too (Ludwigia species, cryptocoryne, anubias, swords and mayaca vandelli)

Great light! Nice color too! I bought one at first to test and try out on a 10 gallon planted Betta aquarium. When it came in I took it out and placed it over my 29g Oceanic biocube because I was wanting to replace the fluorescent bulbs that are 36 watts x4 with LEDs, which use a ton of power. I was amazed and immediately bought 2 more to replace the fluorescents. I'm saving a ton of money on power with these lights and they're more than brite enough for a heavily planted aquarium. I'm very happy with the purchase.

This light fit my tank perfectly, feels very sturdy and the dimmer feature is great. I like that you have different setups also.
