My favorite chair in my apartment!
Honestly it’s pretty perfect. It’s study enough to actually provide some lumbar support, but comfy enough to fall asleep on. It just depends on how you sit on it and distribute the “beans” inside! Super versatile shape. My cat might even like it more than me lol. Highly recommend! The beanbag chair may appear “empty or deflated” but once you sit in it, it feels perfect!

NOT REAL BEANS!!!
Some other reviewer on here said that these were filled with "real beans". I didn't entirely believe this, but thought I'd check it out, just to confirm my suspicions. Sure enough, these are NOT actual beans. They are thicker, rounded Styrofoam pellets, about the size of large peas. They easily smash under one's finger pinch, which is probably why other people have reported this bag "breaking down" or "flattening" after a few weeks! As far as "roughness" goes, I learned that it's not actually the outside cover of the bag that's rough, but rather the outside cover is a bit thinner than the old-school leather/vinyl-type covers were, so the net bag, inside this bean bag, which holds all the pellets together, presses up against the outer cover and you can feel the rough texture through it. :-/My "bean" bag also came separated, like others reported... where I had to put the outside cover over the net bag filled with pellets. The net/pellet bag smalls a bit toxic with chemicals, but luckily the outside cover bag didn't smell much at all!I saw one review where the person reported that their 3 year old opened the zipper and had crawled in... which could lead to this item being a suffocation hazard. I can see what they were talking about.. but I don't know if a 3 year old could zip the bag back up, once inside. Another child could do it, however, and that needs to be looked at!The main issue I found with this chair is that the carrying handle is too long, and my son has been putting it around his neck like a necklace. I have already had to tell him NOT to do that a couple times, as I think this could also lead to possible choking (if it gets tightened around his neck somehow) or maybe if the bag got caught on something, or his sister accidentally pulled on it or something, it could really hurt his neck/head/back.Over all, it's a pretty standard bean bag. Nothing to write home about. I like that my partner and I can sit on it fairly comfortably... and we are both bigger people (-I've gained like 40lb.s since my second child was born in 2019). It is a nice color and good that it can be easily cleaned... but we'll see how well it holds up. I've only had it for 2 days.*I'm not sure why these are a bit more expensive, compared to other comparable bags on the market right now???

Underfilled
The beanbag chairs arrived before the estimated delivery date which was nice. However one was way under filled. I ended up taking beans from the black one to give the other a little more life. Very disappointing!

You're doing it wrong! Use it like this!
Don't sit on this thing. Put it up against the wall or headboard at the end of your bed. There you go! Better, right? Or laying on it is actually very comfortable, but you'll need another pillow for support. I got the red one which seems to have just the right balance of filling. Enough air to flop in half, but will support a full grown adult just fine!

Smaller than sizes say
Sure it’s a good bean bag, one of the only we could find with a removable/washable cover. I do wish there were more canvas options. Our biggest complaint is that they appear smaller than the dimensions noted. However, there is no way to contact the seller, nor have we had any luck through Amazon. Sizes should be 38” x 38” x 27”. We keep measuring 31” x 31” x 20”. Maybe if you mash the bean bag every time you measure you would get their dimensions. Frustrated over something we felt could be fixed.

Size is not as advertised
Size is not as advertised. We ordered a large bean bag that should be 38" round (diameter) by 27" high. The bag we got is less than 30" round and only 18" tall. Definitely returning.

Don't be fooled as I'd been...
I went through the trouble of returning two bean bag chairs I'd ordered that were meant to be for kids to buy two of these so-called "adult size" chairs, and to my HUGE disappointment, they've turned out to be so small, low to the ground and floppy that they are no bigger than the ones that are meant to be for kids. I hope you don't make the same mistake I did.To be fair, I do have to add that these chairs are very well-made, so, it's really a a shame that the chair is so low to the ground that any adults would have a hard time getting up from sitting in it.

My kid loves this thing
Bought this for my son so he doesn't destroy our couch bouncing up and down and wiggling everywhere while he watches youtube gamer videos and plays his switch. He loves it not just for that, but for lounging in and reading. The cat even approves- she will snuggle in next to him on it while he's reading/lounging (when he's not bouncing up and down, of course)He's an active kid and flops down on it, flips it over his back to act like a turtle, etc- and it has held up to his activity thus far. So- points for durability. It's also light enough that he can carry it with the little build-in handle from room to room. All in all, one of the best purchases we've made for the kid. I think he likes it more than most of his actual toys.
