Honoson RP25513 Faucet Stem Assembly Replacement Kit for Two Handle Faucet Repair Kit with RP4993 Seat and Spring for Bathroom Kitchen Lavatory, 2 Pack(2 Pieces)

The faucet in one of the bathrooms developed a leak at the hot water valve. Ordered this repair kit and fixed the leak. Everything fit like it should have and installation was very easy. Very happy with this repair kit.

We have 5 Delta faucets, and have gone through 2 hard weeks trying to stop leaks. One of the high-use bathroom faucets started to slowly leak. I have fixed my own plumbing for dozens of years, so this can't be difficult, right? I watched several YouTube tutorials, and noticed a comment about difficulties installing the critical rubber seats. I went to the first big box store, and bought parts recommended on YouTube videos. The first big issue was that I couldn't press the rubber seats into the cavities, even when lubed with silicon grease. The parts looked identical to genuine Delta parts. I made a tool from a large straw, preloaded the rubber seat, then the seat spring, and "injected" the parts in place. The faucet still leaked. Ignoring the YouTube warning about over-tightening, I finally stopped the leak. The next morning, it was leaking again. I purchased parts from the second big box store, and the same thing happened again. My third trip was to a wholesale to plumbers store that I have used in the past. The staff was very knowledgeable, and steered me to the parts, adding that he used these parts in his house. Exact same experience. Now you can imagine that both the hot and cold water to the faucet was turned off now for 1 1/2 weeks. Out of desperation, I tried to buy a new faucet assembly from several sources, including Amazon. The issue came down to matching faucet styles. The house is now 17 years old. I couldn't find the exact, matching style; close, but not exactly the same. While on Amazon, I "turned on the parts hose", and ordered genuine Delta parts, along with several parts kits from different manufacturers. The new issue was that, after 8 days, "in stock" Delta rubber seats did not get delivered by a "shipped by" Amazon vendor. Now really desperate to fix the faucet, I looked through my pile of parts, and opened the Honoson box. I really did not think they would work, since my expectation was that only genuine Delta seats would fix the leak. Within 3 minutes after removing the old seats and cartridge, I had the new seats installed. Big surprise - they just dropped in place - no drama. Within a few more minutes, the job was done. The faucet no longer leaked, and I didn't have to over-tighten the faucet nut. So what happened to cause so much grief? I believe that the parts chain has been flooded with counterfeit parts kits. They look the same, measure the same, but aren't the same. The skirts on the counterfeits are slightly different. Since the "genuine" Delta parts that I initially purchased had seats with the slightly different skirts, these were probably counterfeit also. I knew that I could get free "guaranteed for life" parts directly from Delta, but didn't want to be placed on hold on my phone for 40 minutes (mentioned by another). Finally, my Honoson kit did not include the plastic 1/4 turn block, and I used my old parts.

Fixed the leak in my Delta faucet. Great value.

The replacement part was an exact fit and installation was very easy. The origional faucet started leaking and I ordered the valves to correct the issue. Problem was solved.

if you have this faucet brand and style save yourself 100 bucks and insert new guts. about 20 minutes to do. second one like 5 minutes

I replaced the hot side cartridge with one of the two cartridges exactly as taken out and the water ran continually so I reversed it and it was fine except the handle pointed inward rather than outward. Finally about to give up I put the other new cartridge in it's now fine. SO BE AWARE THERE IS APPARENLY A HOT COLD OR LEFT RIGHT DIFFERENCE IN THE CARTRIDGES THEY MUST NOT BE IDENTICAL. DOESN'T MATTER ON A TWIST HANDLE BUT DOES ON A SWING HANDLE. I'M NOT A PLUMBING EXPERT BUT NOTHING ELSE MADE SENSE.

They were just installed yesterday so It's hard to tell how long things will last but right now they're working perfectly fine.The water flow is slightly slightly less and I think that's due to the size of the opening at the base, but it's not really a big issue. The quarter turn stop piece is not included so use the one from the stem you are taking out. Seems crazy that it's not included and unless you know how to install, they don't make it apparent that you need it. So far it is just fine, hopefully it will last.
