Exceeded Expectations!
Trying to find a quality tea kettle, at a good price that's also aesthetically pleasing, is like the Jacksonville Jaguars going to the super bowl... Seems impossible. However, after searching articles on the web, reading countless reviews, I think I finally found "the one". I wanted an enamel coated over steel because paint wears off too quickly. So right there is the first thing I love about this kettle. The handle is comfortable to grip and I love that it's only a half handle. Makes taking the lid on and off so much easier. Some reviews say the handle gets hot, and it warns you to use a pot holder when handling. I haven't had to. I only use a pot holder when opening the spout to pour. It heats quickly and the whistle isn't too loud in my opinion. Just loud enough. I've only had this tea kettle a little while so I can't speak to longevity yet, but I will update review later for this. I don't forsee any issues with rust at this point. I think a lot of people have issues with rust because they leave water in the kettle, which you should never do. At the end of the day I rinse my kettle out and let it air dry with the lid off. Then once a week I'll wash it to get rid of any water deposits that may be inside. The color is beautiful. I went with a Caribbean Blue, which matches my kitchen. I also have a electric stove but will be switching to gas soon so I'll also update once I do that as well. Just remember for people who do have gas stoves, you will get some residue on the bottom. That's typical. Just keep wiping it clean and it should last you a long time. With purchase of this kettle, there is hope! Which means maybe there's hope for the Jaguars too ;)

very nice color
The handle stays cool you will not need a potholder when you pick up the kettle. The whistle could be little stronger. I had my last chantal kettle for about 15 years it was the whistle that gave out.

Looks Perfet
I like my new Aqua tea kettle! It's the perfect color, size and shape that I was looking for. I haven't actually used it yet. I'm following instructions, (yes, there are instructions), by NOT keeping water in it when it is not in use. It also says to use it on a burner that is smaller than the base of the kettle, which makes perfect sense. Don't turn the flame up way too high over the sides and the finish will continue to look new and beautiful. I've read other reviews on all kinds of enameled tea kettles in which people have expressed there dissatisfaction because it got "burned" or discolored, it rusted out, etc. I believe that if you take the time to read and follow the instructions, which are included for a reason, then you won't be disappointed.

Nice tea kettle with a couple of small quibbles
I bought this because I really liked the design and color and because my previous Chantal kettle lasted for 20 years before it needed to be replaced. However the shape comes with a drawback - because it has a relatively narrow base less of it comes in contact with the flame/heating element so I have noticed that it takes more time to come to a boil than my old one. Also, the lid fits a bit tightly and is a little hard to remove.

Gorgeous, functional, and whistles great!
I love this teapot! I went through three different turquoise tea pots on Amazon, all claiming to be whistling tea pots. This one actually whistles! It’s sturdy, beautiful, functional and easy to clean. No residue forms on the inside or the outside. I’ve been using it for about three months so far.
