Aromyst Ultrasonic Glass Essential Oil Aromatherapy Diffuser, Black

I have "been into" aromatherapy since the 1980's and I LOVE the current ultrasonic trend! I have several ultrasonic units of differing brands. When comparing my others to this one, I rate this product 5-Stars (the others would be rated less than 5-Stars, in comparison to this one). Nonetheless, I do have two details outlined below which caused me to "sigh" in disappointment. THE GOOD STUFF: This diffuser is quite attractive & diffuses the stated durations, effectively (30+ feet away from the unit, I still enjoy my chosen scents). I use the continuous mist setting most of the time and the auto shut off works well when the water/oil mixture is gone. As an aside and to update previous reviews made about the cord.... the diffuser I received does have a BLACK cord, so to those reviewers, it appears you have been heard and taken seriously by the manufacturer! DISCLOSURE: However, I was very disappointed to discover that the inner water reservoir is PLASTIC (not 100% glass which I was looking to purchase); also, the plastic is evident on the exterior top (opening) of of the unit (about 1/2" in diameter). Alternatively, I assume because the exterior IS heavy glass, the diffuser does become top-heavy when filled & is easily knocked-over if bumped or jostled; positioned on a surface that doesn't see much "action" when it is in use should alleviate this potential issue. SUMMARY: If these 2 details, above, are not stopping points for you, I HIGHLY recommend this Aromyst Glass Diffuser: it is VERY good-looking...the exterior is made of quality (heavy) opaque, glass in a neutral but decorative "cut" pattern; it disperses the oil very well & runs continuously for a long duration. ENJOY!!!

I love this ultrasonic glass diffuser. It is so easy to use. Just lift the top off of the glass diffuser and then there is a plastic lid on the ultrasonic diffuser inside that you lift off and fill it with water and a few drops of therapeutic grade essential oils, return both lids and it is ready to go. It has a button on the front that you press to turn it on. Press it once and it will give you a continual mist, press it again and it will give an intermittent mist and if you press it a third time the unit will turn off. We use it every night in our bedroom with different blends of essential oils or just single oils like Lavender. I has helped give us a restful sleep. I have used doTerra's Zendocrin and OnGuard to keep us healthy and balanced. During the day time I move it to other rooms in our house to freshen the air and humidify it. It turns off automatically when it is out of water. I recommend this diffuser for your health and its beautiful presentation.

Nice looking but smaller than expected. It does a great job.

A beautiful piece to have in the room. Works very well & is easy to operate. Has 3 functions, blue for continuous, green for timed, & once more to turn off or on. Very small & compact. Great for small rooms, bedrooms, & enclosed spaces. The only cons I'd say it has are that the lights should be able to be dimmed or turned off automatically as to not waste energy or be distracting/bothersome at night. Another thing is the lid isn't tight enough, if you were to knock it over it come right off. Maybe to be able to screw it shut instead of clamping would be a smarter alternative. All in all, it's a very unique piece. All glass, except for the inside. I'm glad to have it's addition in my room (

I love my Aromyst so much that I bought a second one this time as a gift. I got so used to sleeping with it and now I cannot imagine my nights without it. It lasts for about 7 hours on continuous mode and makes my room smell so good! The unit itself is so beautiful, it is the perfect size, doesn't take up too much room but is still very potent. I think it is a great gift and I'm sure the person is going to love it! I may even buy more to give to friends and family for Christmas! I'm so happy I found this diffuser!!!

Unfortunately I am returning my diffuser. I love the look of it but was very unhappy with the amount of steam being diffused. I have a few other diffusers which are plastic and they really put it out there. I don't know if it was just a faulty unit or if that is just the way it works. I would be happy to try another one. I understand that this company will give you a unit for the feedback. I would be happy to try it again under those circumstances.

I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PRODUCT. THE RESERVOIR THAT HOLDS THE WATER/ESSENTIAL OIL IS VERY SMALL, THEREFORE THE RUN-TIME IS ABOUT AN 11/2-2 HOURS. THATS IT! 2. THE FRAGRANCE OUTPUT IS VERY MINIMAL. 3. THE MIST CREATES FOG IN THE ROOM ( at first I thought it was just my imagination, but sure enough upon refilling for the second time, the room was foggy). 4. ITS RATHER MESSY. I REALLY WANTED TO LOVE THIS BUT IT TOTALLY DOES NOT SUIT ITS PURPOSE. i AM RETURNING

I love this diffuser - it does an amazing job filling the room with gentle scent. Sadly, because the company does not ship to New Zealand, it ended up costing over $200.00 which was certainly excessive. I love it buy $200???? Then a lovely offer of two for one then next time I purchase. It woudl have been nice to have two for $200 instead.
