$212 plus tax with a coupon. What a deal for this little screamer. I used Pilot Ryan’s rates and expo and a 6s 4000. It was perfect. It’s fast so keep it close. I flew off grass with no problem. No flap mixing was needed. Four minute flights. As noted, this jet was a great value.

Should have been a great plan that would last many flights. Assembly of wings and gear weren't glued well at factory, landing gear ripped out and totaled on runway.Took a long time for horizon to reply and they wouldn't accept any of my photos as evidence and the plane wasn't worth anything after the crash.

I love this jet! It is very stable in the air and lands great. The landing gear is high quality and seems to have a shock absorbing quality that makes even a less than perfect landing look great. It is satisfyingly fast. The only downside to it is the relatively small size. Couple that with the speed and it can get away from you if you aren't careful. It has plenty of power and the 12-blade fan sounds great. If you do crash it, replacement parts are reasonably priced.

The avanti v3 flys great its easy to get in the air, and quite nice to land! Mine had a bad maiden I tryed an orange rx with my spektrum radio and even tho the orange rx claims compatibility with spektrum radios the jet lost signal and crashed from about 200 feet up! With some time and epoxy, plus boiling water it got back into the air and with a proper spektrum rx this time! The avanti v3 came with its own gyro/with auto level and I just installed a basic spektrum rx the jet needs a 7 channel rx to plug the gyro into its own port but i used a ar 620 plugged the gyro into port 6 and paired the flaps with the gear with a y cable on port 5. It works fine this way and I still have landing and take off flap settings and the jet is nearly neutral with the flaps down so no need for elevator mixing. I did have to manualy reverse the flap servos with my solder gun because the flaps were up when the gear was down and so needed the flaps down when the gear is down. The trailing link suspension is most durable and the fast jet is really nice. You need the avanti v3 if you like jets. The manufacturer claims speeds over 180km(111mph)and my avanti v3 did not advertise that it came with a gyro. I paid 265$ I have seen avanti v3's that do advertise the gyro and they were as high as 450$ so maybe avoid the expensive one and look for the more affordable avanti v3 because most likely it comes with the reflex gyro/with auto level wich can be turned off and you can fly with no gyro or gyro. Mine flys great with the gyro on. Almost forgot I fly mine on 4000mah 6s batterys(610grams) the battery is about 1/8of an inch back from the front of the battery bay. Cg is about 3/8ths of an inch forward of the recommend cg. Jet flys great like this. Rich from rcinformer recommend this as a adjustment to the factory cg. Get this jet you wont be sad.
