Cons:This unit is very heavy and took a trip to the hardware store for proper bolts to install and takes 2 people. The screws it comes with aren't sufficient for the weight. Be prepared for that.It's loud. At highest setting of 4 it can be heard from the other nearby rooms. The lower decibel claim in the description must be for a different model or this one is defective in that claim. The decibel rating is obviously incorrect.PROS: It's a beautiful high end looking design. The digital touch screen and perfectly bright led lights are great and easy to use. I really Love the timer! and remote is a plus (though not sure how handy the remote would be for most).It's great quality for the price. I was surprised at the quality. I love the high end pro look including the washable baffles. It Works well! I'm a smell snob. I am very sensitive to smells, especially cooking smells. My husband with his perogies, dumplings, cabbage and sausage or weird stuff my son comes up with, that smaller powered hoods couldn't suck up and I had to turn on ceiling fans and open windows all the time. They were tired of it and I can't blame them. This works and works well! 900cfm seems true and I am happy about it. I have no complaints on the suction power.Even though the "quiet" claim and decibel level is not true and it's loud. It's livable. For the power, the sleek modern look, the easy to wash baffles, the quality, the options it's worth keeping and recommending

We purchased the RH-C06-A42 stainless steel exhaust hood and could not be happier. It is very powerful, yet exceptionally beautiful. It is pretty quiet for such a powerful unit, so that makes everyone happy in the house. It is a little heavy, so you will most likely need 2 people to install it based on its size and weight, but once in place it is gorgeous.I would definitely buy the RH-C06-A42 hood again.

The lampblack machine looks very beautiful, but for the requirements of rapid lampblack, it is not recommended, the effect is not very good, the website indicates that there is 900CFM, but it feels that there is no 900CFM horsepower, and the noise is a little big when it is opened to the maximum gear.

Our last few houses, we have always upgraded the range hood with some fancy Asian range hood of some sort. This one is one of the best we’ve ever had. This thing is just really solid, really nice looking, fairly quiet, and fairly efficient. We haven’t built up enough grease to see how well the grease gutter system works but from the looks of the design it’s going to be the easiest range hood that we’ve ever had for keeping, the grease out.

I reviewed range hoods for several weeks and checked on all brands. This brand was rated very high and wasn't suppose to be loud. It is as loud on low as it is on high. I was disappointed because I cannot use the exhaust and hear the tv. We have a combined family room, dining room and kitchen so exhaust noise overpowers everything else. We would have returned it but it was awkward to install and adjustments had to be made on the cabinet so we are living with it. If we have smoke or oders it will take them out of the house.

I ordered the Awoco RH-C06-A30 Classic stainless steel under cabinet range hood on 25 June 2021 not expecting delivery until the first week in July. I received the range hood today, 29 June and had it installed in a couple of hours. My initial impression: I couldn't be more pleased as the unit is great in every respect. After unpacking the unit and inspecting the contents of the package, I plugged it in and gave it a test run. All worked great. It is hard to believe just how powerful this unit is. I replaced a unit with a mesh type filter like the one Amazon has listed as their number one selling unit that was probably rated under 200 cfm. This unit's suction, even on the low setting is great. I was a little reluctant about ordering this unit as there was only one evaluation showing on Amazon. I like all the features and everything works great and as expected and I got it delivered way sooner than expected.Installation was not complicated or difficult, but I did have to get a couple of items from the hardware store, like the mounting screws I chose to use and not what was included in the package. Besides great air movement, the unit mounted right into my existing rectangular vertical exhaust.I saw evaluations on other units and people complained about being 29.5 in wide and not 30. I have no problem with a quarter inch space on the sides and it probably made the unit easier to install. The specs say it is 50 lbs. I didn't weigh the unit as ready for install, but I will say that it isn't light. Still, I installed it by myself with some pre-planning and just a couple of strategically placed screws for temporary support. The controls are great. It offers a clock, two bright led lights, a timer that can be set to shut off the fan and lights at the end of your cooking. I love it. It has only been installed a couple days, but so far I am impressed. Durability and functionality as to capturing cooking mist and smell is what was important to me. The fan sound, even on high is not a problem. If you don't like the sound, you probably won't get good evacuation of the cooking residue that should be captured in the filters.The unit comes with a remote that I have not tried and don't plan to. The easy operation front controls require nothing more than a press. I will update this as to durability after some time, but for this evaluation, I did not go wrong and got a great product which is exactly what I wanted.

It looks sleek with touch screen and all but very noisy when turned to level 3 and 4, without moving much air out.

There is a huge difference between the 150CFM units you see in big box stores and this 900CFM unit. In order to product this kind of suction I expected a squirrel cage type blower. But no, this has dual fans. They are quiet but provide a LOT of suction. The touch controls are very sensitive (you never have to stab the button repeatedly to make sure it "takes". Would buy again!
