Brilliant little camera.I use it to replace my Bambu P1S camera on a front mount.Easy setup, great picture quality and all for a low price.Only negative (not product related) Amazon left my first delivery next to my green bin, no packaging and it was stolen.But! They sent a replacement out which was great. Redemption :)

This little camers is great and can see in total darkness. Really recommend Tapo cameras all easy to set up and great cost

Easy to set-up out the box and pair with phone app, although i had to watch a youtube review to understand how to initiate the SD card. I was initially unclear how/when exactly the device starts recording and will note here for others - as soon as the SD is inserted and accepted (you will see notification on phone app), the camera, by default, starts recording 'detections' events only, if you want continuous recordings this would need to be changed within settings. Only slight negative is I wish the base was slightly more heavier.

We may have used this Tapo Security Camera in a slightly unconventional way, but it's worked wonders! Instead of using it as a traditional dog or baby monitor, we decided to mount it next to our 3D printer, and it has completely changed how we monitor our prints. With a custom-made 3D printed mount, this camera now keeps a close eye on every layer as it’s laid down, and let me tell you, it’s saved us a lot of print failures.The 2K resolution means we can see even the small details of the print, which is fantastic for spotting any issues early. The motion detection feature has also turned out to be surprisingly useful, if something goes wrong during a print, we get notified before a full-blown plastic disaster can occur. And with the 2-way audio, I can even yell at the printer for misbehaving (not that it listens, but it makes me feel better).Night vision is another bonus since our prints often run through the night. It’s great to be able to check on things without needing to light up the whole room. It’s like having a 3D printing babysitter that doesn’t need sleep.If you're into 3D printing and want to keep an eye on those long prints, this little Tapo camera is a game-changer. Plus, when it's not on print duty, it doubles as a regular security camera, which makes it feel like a bargain. Highly recommend for those creative minds who like to repurpose tech!

What a great little camera for the price. I have it in my window looking out to my car and front garden .The pictures are excellent day and night .

I bought this to overlook the front of the house and driveway from an upstairs window. It's a neat, small and discreet unit and was ver easy to set up through the app, i was able to work it all out without needing any real instructions.I bought the bundle with the 128gb SD card. By current calculations with round the clock recording on 1080p, this will use about 10gb per 24 hours so roughly 10-12 days of recording before it starts to record over itself. I haven't checked yet to see what the 2k recording uses, but will try that at some point. I found it very simple to set up the custom notification area for the camera, I only want to know about people on the driveway and not just passing by. So far this has given me accurate notifications and the app presents these notification episodes separately so it's very easy to go in and review that specific section. You can also scroll through the whole day of footage to your own specific points, this is all made very easy. The daytime view is very clear. I did have to turn off the night vision mode as otherwise you just see a reflection of the camera in the window. We have a streetlight outside the property that provides enough ambient light to give a pretty clear picture without night vision, and also a security light that would trigger if anyone steps on the driveway.All in all, I'm impressed with this little camera. I can't honestly think of anything that it could do better than it already is!

Bought this so I can keep an eye on my baby tortoises who are in an outbuilding. Connects to my Alexa as well so can be viewed onscreen or on app. Good quality pic and very easy to set up. Went for this brand as I have another one as well. Pleased with both. You can just sensitivity easily so motion detection isn’t triggered too often. Easy to use and would recommend.
