GibsonHome Bella Galleria 16 Piece Dinnerware Set, Taupe

This dinnerware set is just gorgeous and looks like high-end. I love the shape of the bowls and cups as opposed to some of the other designs. I bought this because my Gibson Soho plates were a bit dated and because of their square shape, did not fit in my new 1 CF microwave (12.4" turntable). These dinner plates fit perfectly. My only concern is that the plates are a little on the thin side, so they need to be handled with care.

This set looks almost elegant but still great for the kitchen too. There is a raised rust/brown ridge between the tan & black on all the pieces which makes it more interesting. The colors are true to how they are pictured though , as they tell you, there might be slight color variations in the tan but I didn't see any in my 2 sets. Love this!

These look gorgeous when the light reflect off them they actually glow. Love the quality!

The one thing we were worried about when purchasing dishes without seeing them in person, is how sturdy they would be and if their size is what you are really looking for. Glad these are what we were looking for!They are super sturdy and clean easily. We wanted deeper bowls which are harder to find and these were perfect. I added a 16 oz glass to the shelf for reverence on the size.

I bought them for an every day set and when they went on sale I ordered a third set because I really like them - I think they are very classy looking and will use them for guests as well. My only complaint is that the handle on the mugs are too small - I’m very little and I have trouble getting my hand in it. Also it would be great if they had matching pieces to go with the dishes like a platter and vegetable bowl and maybe salt and pepper sets and a butter dish. But overall I really like them - oh they could be a little bigger like 11 or 11 1/2Inches

You can wash 'em in the dishwasher. You can put 'em in the microwave. These are good, sturdy dishes. One note for these particular dishes, bowls, and mugs: the outer rings are a really dark brown, not black. This was fine for us, but it might be different for you. All in all, they're a good value.

Very good looking set of dishes. By far one of my favorite looks for a dish set that I have seen. They feel very nice and are dishwasher and microwave safe. But it seems there are some quality control issues. With how good the rest of the set looks, they really stand out to me.There is a white uncoated spot on one of the plates and another plate has a dimple in the coating with a raw white spot at the center of the dimple. There is also a random dark spot in one of the bowls that stands out. Some bowls have very nice patterns of black spots, but when there is just one outstanding dot, it doesn't not look nice. And finally, one of the bowls came with a small chip on the rim...If I paid $20 I would give 5 stars. If I paid $40 I would give 4 stars. But I paid almost $70 for this set. I was expecting better quality control, so they get 3 stars. I would tell someone to look elsewhere for their dinnerware. Its a shame, really, it is a beautiful set otherwise, but there are too many defects for my liking.

La vajilla es bonita, sin embargo la decoración/pintura no está bien plasmada, algunos platos y tazas tienen las orillas despintadas o manchadas.

Great, I haven't has any problems with scratching like some of the other comments how ever I don't think the people having problems with scratching really know what stoneware is. I will be picking up a second set to have my regular 8 place settings. color in the picture was very accurate and that ring around the edge (I was worried it would be metal or something when you look close, like a goldish ring) is micro wave safe and/or not metal.
