At first I thought it was defective because I couldnt get it to record any sound at all. I started a return. I read the reviews of some who said it fit perfectly but no sound. I think now I know why they had no sound working. There is a mic mute button on the HS 60 pro and on mine it was pressed. When I pressed the mic mute off on my headset. The Mic worked perfectly. I got a loud and clear recording that I am pleased with. Its good build quality in my opinion. And very happy I have a working mic now. Thanks!

Just wanted to let all those people know that the mic works great for an Corsair hs 60 pro headset. It fits perfectly without any modifications.
