A Ladybird Book: Trees

Absolutely terrible, I had the original copy of this book 50 years ago and the artwork was superb. Unfortunately the pictures in this new edition look as if they were painted by a blind Elephant with its trunk tied behind its back. If anyone can reconise any trees after reading this book I would be amazed. My advice is try to find a copy of the original.

The illustrations are not realistic and includes trees which are not indigenous to the UK. Ordered it for an intelligent child of 7 years and has little appeal to a child very interested in identifying local trees in the UK.
