The dishes are beautiful. They are better than the picture. I have only had them a week but they have been in the microwave. They didn't get hot. They have been in the dishwasher but only a few times. I ordered another set.

NOT microwave safe!!!
Item description is untruthful. The plates are all stamped "Not Microwave Safe" on the bottom. Luckily, i checked before using. Otherwise, they are beautiful and dishwasher safe. One star off for the false microwave claim.
