I’ve been using the Urban Decay Moondust eyeshadow, and I honestly think it's in a league of its own. If you’re someone who loves a high-impact, sophisticated sparkle rather than just "chunky" glitter, this is exactly what you’ve been looking for. The Application: As you can see in my photos, the color in the pan looks like a warm, bronzy-copper, but it applies much more sheerly, which is what makes it so versatile. It’s not a full-coverage opaque pigment—it’s more like a "diamond topper" effect. I love using my finger to press it onto the center of my lid; it catches the light so beautifully and gives the eyes that expensive, "wet-look" shimmer. Performance: What really impressed me is the wear time. Even though it's super sparkly, I’ve had zero issues with fallout throughout the day. It feels very smooth and refined on the skin, not gritty like some other glitter shadows. It instantly elevates a simple makeup look into something that looks like I spent 20 minutes blending, even though I just tapped it on in seconds. My Verdict: If you’re on the fence, just get it. It’s become a staple in my routine because it’s effortless but makes such a big impact. Whether you want to wear it alone for a sheer wash of sparkle or over another shadow for more dimension, it is absolutely gorgeous.

I liked this eyeshadow a lot! It didn't irritate my eyes or eyelids and the color is simply awesome! It goes well with everything and it's not too sparkly at all. On the contrary it gives a subtle and refined look.

I have hooded eyes and have learned that if you put a little sparkle in the eyelid. It makes a huge difference. This color cosmic is just perfect for that. Last all day and into the night.

My skin type: Asian skintone, olive undertone. I have very oily eyelids. But I am also a lazy bum who doesn't wanna use primer because I also want to be minimalist. Have been eyeing this gem for years now but never pulled the trigger until now. And I regret that I didn't buy it earlier. Size: small, 0.06oz. Value for money: tons. Totally worth it. Ease of application: easy, can use with finger tips or an eyeshadow brush. Glide: easy. Texture: pressed powder with a tiny bit 'moisture' in it (it's not like a complete classic pressed powder). The glitter particles are very nicely distributed when swiped across my hand (in the video), as well as over my eyelid. Not too dense, not too loose. Just perfect. In the picture with the swatches on my arm, top to bottom: Space Cowboy lightly applied, then more stronger, same with Diamond Dog lightly, then below stronger. I like the brown base of Diamond Dog, too. Space Cowboy has a more peachy undertone, while Diamond Dog has a more brown base. Dupe: Colourpop in Ritz. BUT I have to say, UD Moondust wins and has become my OG eyeshadow. The Colourpop one CREASES on my oily lids while UD Moondust does not. All I do is wipe my eyelids with a wet cotton pad to 'clean off my eyelid' before I slap on the eyeshadow with my finger. Very easy, one and done eyeshadow. If you like it subtle, do very lightly. If you like to go out with a boom bang bang, then just build up more. I hope Urban Decay will never ever retire this eyeshadow. And I put that on without eye primer even and it stays on and on. So yeah. This eyeshadow is worth every dollar/cent/dineros. Just buy it already. I also bought another one to store it in case I run out of my other one.

This eyeshadow is absolutely gorgeous and catches the light beautifully. The glitter effect looks high-end without tons of fallout everywhere. Easy to build up for subtle shimmer or full glam looks. Perfect for nights out or special occasions.

I’m pretty cheap so I was skeptical that a 24.00 eyeshadow was going to be that much better than something less expensive. I was wrong! First off the sparkle on this is so lovely, it catches light beautifully and it applies so easily. I LOVE that it does not crease on my oily eyelids-which is a big problem I have with most all eyeshadows I’ve used. The moment I applied this onto my eyelids I was impressed with the coverage and the sparkle. ✨ I didn’t even need primer but I’m sure primer would make it perform better. I purchased the shade called Space cowboy and it had a little bit of a beige/gold tint to it. Really nice on my olive skin tone, but I think this would compliment most any skin tone. It has good longevity and does not accentuate any fine lines or texture on my eyelids and did I already say-it does not crease on my eyelids! Does not make them dry either! I really love this eyeshadow and would buy it again. I purchased it during Black Friday and it was 12.00-so if the price tag puts you off, keep an eye out for sales! Added a not so great pic. Bad lighting in my house but you can still see the sparkle.

This color is fabulous! I am a redhead but I think it would look great on most. Glides on and the sparkle is ever so subtle, more like a glimmer.
