It over heated
It worked correctly but we noticed that it over heated very quickly, we also left it for a while to let it cool down but even after more than 20min it was still warm to the touch.

Works perfect.
Battery wasn’t charging on my 2000 Arctic Cat 300. Found I had volts coming from my stator so figured this was the fix and it was. Very cheap and simple fix for the old fourwheeler.

Easy to put it in
My fiancé needed this piece for his R6 since it was starting anymore and he was able to switch out the old one and put this one in quickly. It took less than 10 minutes and the bike was starting again. Great quality for the price

For the price not bad
I always see these reviews the bad one are alway like it's cheap and junk if the motorcycle is up to standard the factory units are just as bad for twice the money it an agreed problem with the early r6 I bought two of these now the first died to bad battery and other electrical problems that have been fixed and it died after 4 months of battery problems now it hold safe and steady 13.8 will buy again to have for a back up

Over Charging
13.4V at battery when motorcycle is off 14.3V at idle and 16V+ at 5K RPM. Stay away you WILL kill batteries. Engine started perfect before but after installing it just clicks even if the battery reads 13.4V. The liquid in the battery most likely started drying up and the capacity isn’t the same due to the overcharging. Will be returning and asking for a refund. Better option is to look at a local marketplace or OEM.
