I’m not sure what else you might have in mind. Certainly not suitable for boots or anything larger in circumference than a dog’s paw and lower leg. **Q: Does this have a lid so the water won't spill out when in transit? I may not always have a handy water source at the time she has muddy paws.** A: There is a twist on rim that you could put some saran wrap in to make a "lid". Just keep it upright and it should prevent major spills. Not enough to toss in a bag or anything. **Q: My dog's paws are about 2-1/2" wide.
