I wasn’t into the Sync 2 that came in my 2015 mustang at all so I bought an android carplay system and the thing stopped working properly after a week. I looked into switching to Sync 3 but couldn’t find anything until I found this. It works exactly as designed and was super easy to install. The kit came with all the tools I needed to install it and only took me around 30 minutes from opening the package to blasting tunes. Super happy I found this.

I was on the fence about buying this because of the price and the fact it was coming from China. I figured it could take a few months to arrive. I was completely wrong. I ordered on Sunday evening and messaged the seller my VIN number. When I woke up Monday morning I had a message from the seller saying they received my info and we're going to ship it out after programming it. I received it that Fri. I watched a video on the install and it took about 30 mins. So far system works flawless. Kit came with all the tools needed to complete the install. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to update the factory sync system Update .......I have had the system for over a year now . After a month or so I had a few problems with it I contacted customer service and they answered right away and shipped new parts to fix the problem the same day. My original review stands and I still highly recommend it

I opened my box and looked through everything to find the trim USB ports different from the pictures and no gloves in the box! The radio itself was programmed for a Escape and wouldn't work in my mustang and I didn't know until my entire car was already taken apart. It also came with unusable wireless carplay adapter which was not in the description Edit: I contacted the seller and got a replacement kit sent out that was correctly programmed for my mustang. Most things works correctly, except it still did not come with gloves or the disk for the programming cable. The 2 port "USB Hub" that came with my kit does not match the pictures for this listing, and is not exactly compatible with mustangs. In the pictures for this kit, it shows a hub with 2 USB A ports, and what I was given was a hub with 1 USB A port and 1 USB C port. Either of these 2 port USB hubs do not work well with a 2015-2023 mustang because they disable the front USB port under the start button. (The correct USB hub for a mustang has 1 single USB A port, and the back side of this hub has the correct wiring connection to make the front usb port work.) So if you buy this kit, the front usb port is disabled and unpowered and you can only use the USB ports in the center console.

So I was skeptical at first with this being literally almost half the price of units sold elsewhere but I figured for the amount I was spending on it it can’t be the worst thing. When I received it, which was almost a full week earlier than estimated every single piece was meticulously packaged and cared for and not a scratch on anything. Installation was quick and simple, albeit the one zonk I have on the product was the YouTube like included did not work, however there were many installation videos to guide me through this on my 2015 Mustang GT so it wasn’t really anything to worry about. All in all, great product that works perfectly and I have zero complaints whatsoever.

I have a 2015 Mustang GT and it had only the Sync 2. This was a better option for me than going to one of those Android head units. I had one of those in my 2016 Mustang and it was laggy...not to mention you needed to supply a wifi connection to use it. The only complaint I would have about this Sync 3 upgrade is the provided screen protector. It's great they provided one (much appreciated!) but sometimes I have to tap a couple times to register.

I was skeptical about buying this kit considering it is much less expensive compared to other retailers I was looking into. However I was pleasantly surprised when the kit arrived with every tool you need to complete the installation. The unit is completely plug and play. It worked flawlessly the instant it was powered up. I would highly recommend this upgrade kit if you’re looking to go to Sync 3.

Unit works great after initial testing. Love to have native GPS + Apple/Android Auto available, which work great. Don't understand why gloves, usb pc adapter and screen protector were part of the set but the remaining items do the job. VIN got preprogrammed, which is great.

Amazing product and way cheaper than any place else online. They said shipping was supposed to be around 2 weeks since the product is coming from China…. I got it in 6 days!!! Everything was packed perfect and the install was easy, you can find a lot of videos on YouTube. Highly recommend!
