We often think we can just use human products on dogs and while it may sound great in theory to save some money and share, its not always a good idea. I know many products are marketed in different ways to sell to different populations when its's all really the same product. But many pet products are not just gimmicks. in this case its important that something not be greasy or oily or create an environment where dirt and such will stick to the pet. Its almost important that it won't harm the animal if licked. We all know the first thing many dogs do when sprayed with something is that they turn to sniff and lick. I wanted something very safe for the babies. one of my dogs is white w/ short hair and pink skin underneath. he loves to lay outside w/his bare tummy exposed pointed right at the sun (in Florida). this is perfect for us b/c i do wish to protect him and he does tend to have sensitive skin. the scent is light and the product is not at all greasy. once sprayed and he sniffs, he doesn't seems to care too much about it so leaves it on there. great for noses too. a must to have on hand for these types of dogs

We had our 20 year old Airdale X shaved for the summer months, and I noticed she was getting a bit of a sunburn when she went outside to play. I purchased the sunscreen and could not be happier!!! It is fabulous. I used it on one of our other dogs, and it is the first product I have used where she didn't run to the lawn to rub it off.I also purchased the stain and odor remover, and the scent is quite pleasant, and the product works very well. I shall be purchasing the sunscreen and the stain and odor remover from now on!!

There aren't a ton of dog sunscreens that look decent for the price, so I decided to give this one a try. Seems to work very well on my harlequin Great Dane, especially on the areas where he is shaved down from surgery, and it doesn't leave him feeling like he has residue from it for too long. My one complaint is the smell- you do not smell the coconut, I expected it to smell a lot better.

This stuff is a miracle. Plain and simple. Not only does it protect my dog from the sun but it has also started new fur growth on her spots that had no fur for years! She is a shepherd husky mix and needed to be shaved multiple times for a severe skin condition. She has had a bald back for a LONG time and I had no hope of new growth, until I started using this!! What a wonderful unexpected surprise! The oils promote skin health and hair growth like nobody's business, it is sensitive enough for her condition and smells great! I am in love with this product!

Our dog does not like the scent of the product and will not willingly let us apply it and definitely not spray it on her! might work well if we could apply it adequately!

Its not sticky or oily at all, I can apply a hefty amount to my dogs fur, and once it dries I feel no residue when i pet him.I was worried about skin irritation, because I have a solid white great dane who is sensitive to everything. He didn't get red or break out at all, even after numerous applications throughout the day.Because he has pink skin, he usually starts to get red with sunburn within minutes of being outside, and we were outside for a few hours without him looking the slightest bit red.Smell is slightly odd, but not bad, and very faint as well. The odor is not strong at all and I had to hold the bottle right up to my nose to smell it.Bottle is much bigger than i expected, so I'm sure it will last a while. I'm very happy with this product.

I have a pet mini pig who loves the warmth and will lay out in the sun for hours at a time without realizing she’s basically roasting herself. As a result, she’s had some pretty bad sunburns leading her skin to crack and peel. Our household prefers natural products and I’m glad I discovered this. It’s helped her existing sunburn while also protecting her from future sunburns. I do wish the formula was more of a cream/lotion than a spray for application purposes, but this still seems to do the job. I’d recommend to pet owners who want happy, healthy skin for their little friends.

My rescue pup has some scarring around her neck and shoulders which can easily sunburn that - heaven forbid - could lead to serious skin conditions or even cancer. This is perfect for quick & easy sun protection before we go out for a quick walk, or layered under a doggie sun shirt for a longer outing on really hot summer days. It makes her coat beautiful & shiny, and she smells fresh, but not overpowered with perfumey scent. Plus as a New Yorker, I am thrilled to support a local, minority-owned business. Dog hates to have it put on, doesn’t matter if you spray it on him or into your hand and rub it on he doesn’t like it but he didn’t burn so it works

Purchased this product for our Peruvian Inca Orchid pup. He is hairless. We live in the true desert of British Columbia and our pup needs some kind of sunscreen. I am pleased to find something that is not 82.00 and am hoping this will do the trick. At this point I cannot rate it until we see how it goes. With temps being in the 40's a few weeks ago, we keep him inside for the most part. My biggest concern is that everything absorbs through his skin and this seems to be natural ingredients that, hopefully, will not cause any issues for him.

Easy to use and safe for doggies

Worked for moisturizer but not the greatest for sun.

It’s hard to say whether it works or not, since my puppy has SOO much fur and has never been burned before. Maybe she wouldn’t have gotten burned without it, but you never know. This could have helped to protect her. Anyway, my little baby is burn free, and safe from most harmful ingredients. The only thing I don’t like about it, is the mild surfactant blend. I need to know what’s inside this blend, or i don’t fully trust it. I want my babies to only use products that won’t harm them in the future. Besides that, I do really like this product. It’s the most natural dog sunscreen I can find, that won’t drain my bank account.
