Works great on small branches

This is perfect for pruning the branches on young fruit trees and other small branches. 5 star for the price but my gardener let me try out the one that he has which is double the price but much better quality. If you are not using it all the time and need it for small pruning jobs, this is the perfect solution.

Good blade, mediocre handle. Saw cuts well on both strokes, and the blade is sturdy. I like the locking mechanism -- it locks the blade in the handle, and blade out when you're cutting. The only part I don't like is the composition of the handle: It's hard plastic with sharp edges. If you do more than a couple of cuts, you'll want to wear gloves. For that reason alone, I'm returning it.

Very sharp....makes pruning quick and easy. much handier than a big saw or electric saw.
