The narrow width may make these a little less stable than wider - but heavier - models. Wouldn't recommend these for a large or heavy person.

I live in NYC studio with high ceilings and have to change flush mount light bulbs frequently. This allows me to do that and I’m only 5’4”. This is much taller than a 3 step ladder. It’s also has a slightly narrower base so I can get closer to vertical wall. Since I have teeny closet I have to see the ladder all the time. A ladder that fits my style and is chic was such a nice added bonus! It seriously made me sad to see my ugly old ladder next to my clothes. Glad I upgraded to a functional ladder that looks pretty.

This stepladders is exactly what I was searching for! I wanted a lightweight ladder that I could easily move around my home and closet and this one fits the bill quite perfectly! The fact that it is a beautiful gold color is the icing on the cake! Oh, and the extra 4th step enables me to reach higher places than my previous ladder which was heavier and had only 3 steps. It's a MUST HAVE for your home and closet!!!

The ladder is light weight and color perfect for what I need it for. I'm not scared to stand on the top step because the handle is there for support.
