Positive:1. Heavy and sturdy metallic stand/holder. And, you need this to keep your expensive iPad in place. It is ONLY for iPad eg mini 4 size. The two brackets are far apart for eg to use iphone. This is why 4 stars.2. The iPad will fall off if not placed at an angle. It does not stay in an upright position.3. It will NOT fit eg iphone portable position but it will fit longitudinally though.4. Holder folds flat for storage and you can lift the angle of iPad up and down. If you want to lift it higher, then place the holder over a catalogue of heavy books. It will do the job.5. I did not want a light weight one as I was scared of dropping the iPad. I have placed blue/white tack on the brackets to stick the iPad, just in case.Negative:6. It will be heavy for lightweight travel. UK.

I think it is a bit too short for height adjustment. Have also had to put on top of reams of paper for additional height.It is strong and sturdy though.

If you have a small tablet (7-10”) and you’re in need of a stand with a range of heights and angles then this is great option, sadly, it can’t handle the 12.9” iPad Pro 4th gen at max height. The stand just slowly drops over the span of a couple of hours, which is extremely disappointing & more than a little frustrating for me.

I have a galaxy tab s7+ (which has a 12.4 inch screen, so within what this stand said it can handle) but if you shake it even slightly it starts to fall. On my home desk, which moves very little, this means it falls every time I use the touch screen, and sometimes just slips down randomly - this is constant throughout the day - and when I tried to use it out the house on a less sturdy desk I spent more time fixing the stand than working!If you have a small, light tablet it might work, but I definitely don't think it's designed for the size they claim it is.

I am really pleased with this stand. It is very adjustable going from high to low and holds my samsung 10inch tablet brilliantly in portrait or landscape. Great value for money and i would recommend it.

This is just amazing. I spent hours searching for a sturdy stand because I needed one to use in portrait with a tablet and most tablets seemed to have a tendency to fall over in portrait. Not this one - it is incredibly sturdy, even if using with a kindle book and swiping a lot. i was well impressed and am buying a second as a present for somebody else. I would almost go so far as to say it is my best buy of the year.
