Screwdriver Set - Precision & Regular - Ratcheting, with Sockets and Case. Best for Household Repair, Electronics, Tool Kit

This is the third item I have purchased from Home Planet Gear. I have a similar kit in my garage and decided to order this for my home workshop. This puts the other one to shame. It is well organized (normal for this company). The actual tools are of high quality and the selection of bits included in the kit will handle almost all tasks. Need a jeweler's screwdriver and bits? It's there!! Need a 1/4 inch socket set and driver? It's there!!need a regular screwdriver with a ratchet handle? It's there!!! The sockets are metric which is now the norm. All this and a 100% guarantee.

I love the product. It was shipped to us without any problems. I felt that the screwdriver set was reasonably priced, came in a small case and offered a good variety of parts that can work with the majority of household jobs. I especially liked the fact that the set does not take-up a lot of room, and can be stored in a small, enclosed compartment.

This product is very durable and I have little to no complaints. The case is handy and keeps everything organized. The ratcheting screwdriver with the extension is very comfortable and easy to use. The small screwdriver is a nice addition, but I haven't had an opportunity to use it yet.My biggest issue with the set is grabbing bits in toward the center of the holder. They are very awkward and difficult to grab for someone with larger hands. The magnet in the bit holder also fell out after a small amount of use. I was able to jam it back in and it hasn't fallen out yet.

This is a "decent" set. Certainly priced well but I have a couple of issues with it functionally. First off is that you need some needle nose pliers or some added oil or something to get the small bits out - they are in there really snug - guess you won't spill them all over if you overturn this, but switching out a bit is a bit of a pain. Second, the ratcheting mechanism is pretty stiff. You don't get any ratchet until there is a pretty stiff resistance (like you are well into the substrate) so the early turns are all regular screwdriver mode - and this is when the help of the ratchet really makes a difference - in getting things started. Nice locking case, and good grip on the handle. Have not used the sockets yet, so can't comment there, but they look capable. Hope that helps!

1st review (05/17): Ok so after 9 months of use... The bigger screwdriver piece is falling apart. The magnet inside of the adapter comes out every time I place one of the bits inside. The smaller screwdriver is far more sturdy and I actually like it. But I would not buy this kit again, if I had the chance.Latest review (06/17): After receiving a new set with that had a better design of the magnet seating, I cannot say that I am not satisfied and I admit that Home Planet Gear's customer service surprised me, in a good way of course.

Looking at the regular price, then the price it was being sold for...I thought I was getting a normal size set of tools with the speciality start tipped tools I needed for some of the screw heads i needed for my car. Not having any experence at ordering srewdrivers without the benifit of seeing them and handling them, I figured they must be the right kind. The plastic box I was looking at made me believe it was sturdy and a good way to keep them together.If I recal it was wrapped in bubble wrap, but as I removed the wrap, the plastic box had been damaged and was a corned broken off. I was disapointed and cobsidered wrapping back up and returning the case. But I needed the tools that day. I was excited because I could see the shape of the heads they would work for me. They did work non the screws I needed. But the size of the tools, and how they were undersized I struggled to get the screws off. They did the job I needed but tjese drivers were meant to be used on sun glasses not for the screw size on a car.When I go to purchase them again I will have this set to remind m ysel;f to go in see the size I needed beefore purcase.

the precision tool was a little bent but works fine. The thing i like about this kit is that i dont have to have a buch of screwdrivers that are just going to be in a drawer that will never use because it gets mix up with the other tools and then use something else.With this I just get the kit, go to the place I need it, assemble what I need and work.Update: A few days later Mr Stone personaly sent me a letter with a new precision tool. This is a nice compact set. It is really short sighted not to have included a Phillips Screw driver bit. I would recommend this set and buying a Phillips bit to complete the set.Updated 7-3-2017 - The Home Planet Gear staff contacted me to replace the set. I received a set that wasn't complete and the company quickly wanted to replace it with the complete kit. Very friendly people and I recommend this Screwdriver set and the Home Planet Gear.
