I’m an airline pilot and use the purple ear plugs on overnights in hotels. The foam in the purple earplugs seems to be softer, conforms to the ear shape well, and seems to provide slightly better noise abatement over the orange ones. I tried many earplugs before landing on these. So far they’re the best functioning and stand up to multiple uses. Extremely comfortable. Highly recommended.

These work pretty good, if you look at the attenuation chart they are really good. Even better than 3m 1100 some how I used them for motorcycle riding and it goes up to 120db and these blocked alot of noise. Insert them right, roll as tight as you can and quickly stick into ear canal while pulling ear up and back. Hold it in place for 10-30 seconds while it expands. These ear plugs are the best I’ve tried for my ears. They are very good at dulling or stopping noise and they are very comfortable. Even though they are supposed to be single use, they remain very effective for many times more than that. Good value for money.
