Verna says.. Valve caps have NOTHING to do with tire pressure monitor systems (TPMS), and has ZERO effect on the air or TPMS. Valve/Stem caps are more for looks than anything else. Air doesn’t escape the tire simply from there being no cap **Q: how long do these hold up? do they corrode?** A: I have had them on my BMW 330i for a year now. Still look new. Aluminum does not corrode like steel. It does oxidize but these are powder coated to prevent that. They are solidly made and knurled for ease of use when refilling tires. I would absolutely buy them again, but doubt I would need to anytime soon. **Q: this will fit on honda civic coupe 2013?** A: Not sure. They fit my 2013 GMC Denali and my 2009 Saturn vue. I believe they’ll fit a regular tire stem. **Q: Is anyone else having trouble with getting the wrong color? I have ordered two times for the red valve caps and they keep sending black ones.** A: I have not had that problem.
