Trim's edge digs into thighs when stopped or standing
First the good parts... Fit my 2004 883 Sportster. The Seat has a solid metal base, good construction, and good detailing in the stitching. Colors matched my stock Harley paint job. It's a Bare bones seat, so not much padding, but was fine for short rides and around town (my intended purpose). It's an easy install, but you will want to print out the pictures to install it, as they do not provide any instructions.No the reason I had to return it.The seat's trim is so stiff and sticks out so much, that when the rider is stopped, it digs into your thighs. It may soften over time but based on the build quality, I doubt it. (A good thing in that respect). The other problem I had with it, is the seat cants too far forward, causing me to slide off the seat toward the tank. I was constantly having to reposition myself. Maybe a heavier rider wouldn't have this issue, but I did.Sadly, I am having to return it.
