This is a somewhat thin fabric so if you are doing embroidery you will need to be mindful of cleaner stitching for the back. This presents no problem for me as I do mixed media embroidery and end up painting or altering the fabric in ways the slight transparency is not an issue. This is a great material for beginners up to intermediate because of how easily the needle goes through. And the color options are so nice!!! A lot of other packs offer neutrals or plain colors and I adore the nice teal and true pink in this set.
