Looks great but bugs are a problem
I have two of these, they look great and are easy to install on a pole. I bought my first one in 2015 and second one recently. There are two problems:1) They are not bug proof, bugs are attracted to the light and enter the fitting, but cannot escape, as a result they become a bug graveyard and have to be cleaned out periodically, the glass gets filthy.2) They are advertised as aluminum and feel weight wise like aluminum, with time however rust is visible on the inside of the lid in places -clearly not aluminum.Overall it's a great pity that there is not an adequate seal to prevent insect entry and limit corrosion. My wife loves the look of the fitting, that is the only reason I bought a second one.A little better quality control and this would have been 5*

Nice quality, easy to install
I had to replace my lamp on top of an existing pole. Took me about 1 hour to wire it up, mount it, drill holes for the screws and get it operational. You should use a small drill or punch to locate where to drill the holes at the top of your pole. You must then remove the lamp, drill holes that are slightly larger than the screws into the pole. The purpose of the screws is to prevent the lamp from moving. Drilling a hole that is the same size as the screw won't let you put the screws in when you put the lamp back onto the pole to finish the installation.

Lamps look good, not happy with assembly
After thinking that there was a problem with mounting holes in the lamp body, I found that the screws that held the canopy on to the body were too long and could not tighten all the way down to secure the canopy. Luckily I have a shop in my house where I could shorten the screws thereby permitting the screws to secure the canopy to the body.

Its Ok
The item in person isnt as rustic or textured as advertised online. Ours was pretty dull looking when it arrived, but the beveled glass is a nice touch. The single bulb look is boring to me but with more designer bulbs out there you can compensate. The screw holes for the top mount didnt match up well, it doesnt look aesthetically off but it was machined poorly. For the price you are getting a decent but boring looking lamp, the design of the glass and metal adds some class and for the price it does the job

Lantern looks better then it works
Not what I expected It leaks water gets in very easily. I am very disappointed in its light output, the light does not cover my driveway evenly a lot of the light is directed up and not down. If it was weather proof and had a reflector on the top cover that would have made it better. I will have to look for a different lantern this one falls way short of doing a good job I would buy something else

Good but not perfect
The fixture is as advertised and seems to be well-constructed. It was very easy to assemble and install. The main thing wrong with it is that a hole was drilled for a sheet metal screw that isn't used in this design. The hole must have been drilled by mistaking it for another model, and the instructions that came with it were for another model that does use sheet metal screws. The hole was very easy to fill with electrician's putty, so it wasn't much of a problem. The only other complaint that I have is that the weep hole seems to allow small insects to crawl inside the lamp. I don't see how they could have avoided this, since the hole is pretty small. I sprayed a long-lasting insecticide into the hole, and I hope that this solves any problem. If not for the erroneously drilled hole, I would probably give this a five-star rating, since it does seem well-constructed and looks very good on the post. It also has ample room for light bulbs of any sort. I used an LED bulb, but even a long candle-shaped bulb should fit without any problem.

Fits and works great
Easy to install as a replacement for a ligh that got broken by the tree trimmers.

Pretty nice light
In love with this glass and metal light. It replaced a plastic one on the pole that broke during a hurricane. It's not terribly fancy or high end, but it's quite a suitable look for a simple farmhouse and it works with standard light bulbs.
