RC Alloy Caster Block&Steering Blocks for Traxxas 1/10 4X4 Slash, Stampede, Rustler 4WD -Replaces Part 6837 6832

I install this on my slash VXL 4 x 4, They are made very well also it was nice to have the bearings already installed so I didn’t have to buy additional bearings. The only complaint is that I wish the tolerance was a little tighter for the shoulder screws through the steering block there’s a little bit of play in there,, I’m talking 10ths of a millimeter but there is play. Also I will be giving five stars but I think they are a little overpriced. Of course all RC models and parts impart a certain amount of price gouging because it’s so fun and they know customers will pay it. Ha Ha

Bought these for my Hoss twice and they have both broke within a few runs around my backyard. Not even bashing, just open grass and little dirt to do donuts in. At first I thought I may have gotten a defective set, so I bought another set to match the Coda Racing shocks and arms I purchased. A week later, running it around my yard and it snapped again. I’m not saying Coda Racing is garbage, just sharing my bad experience with their product and to say I will no longer be buying from them.

Material very fancy looking but very weak construction and design, wasted money and ruined drive time will not recommend will not buy again. (Not a random bad part, it’s the small amount of aluminum facing forward, would not want one under free warranty replacement, I want stuff that works)

I would replace the top hats with shoulder screws. Lasted a couple months before showing signs of wear and then broke on a high speed triple jump gone wrong.

They are nice still have them installed. The only issue I really had other than a screw came off the bottom is that the long pin screw that goes into the arms would not screw in. Had to drill out bigger whole. Since then still holding strong.
