How to be an evolved HOT alpha male without turning in your man card.......
Proving Paul's Promise is Paul and Friday's story in the continuing Reed Brothers series. Paul is the quintessential alpha male/protector/head of household/best oldest brother to ever have lived on paper. Paul's relationship with his little girl, Hayley, is just precious and heartwarming. One of my favorite scenes is when Paul is internalizing while fixing a pink bow for Hayley's hair during a dance recital. Paul proves you can be a fully evolved male without turning in your man card.Paul's had a thing for Friday, who's worked in his tattoo shop for the last few years but was always under the assumption she was a lesbian, so he put her in the friend zone. But he shares a kiss with Friday and then he finds out she's not a lesbian....and Paul becomes a man on a mission. As we get to know Friday, she's been a lost soul slowly finding her way back to the land of the living. Let's just say Friday's got some heavy baggage. She decides to become a surrogate for her two BFFs, Garrett and Cody. Paul's jealous but as Paul and Friday do the mating dance, he learns that she's a surrogate for her two friends. Friday also has a thing for Paul but witnessing how he randomly hooks up with the female clientele and his ex with benefits, Kelly, Fridays keeps her heart closed off. With some coaching and insight from his brothers and Emily (Logan's girl), instead of breaking down her protective walls, he asks Friday if she'll let him in to live with her inside her walls. There are so many moments for the reader to have deep sighs that you just have to read Paul's story for yourself. I love the Reed Brothers series. They're so funny, sweet, kind and hot you'll melt after reading each of their story. The only one without his own story is Sam, Pete's twin. I can't wait!

Seriously, read these books. Amazing!
There are only a handful of authors that I will buy their kindle books no matter the price. Tammy Falkner is one of them as I have fallen madly in love with all of her characters in The Reed Brothers series. Friday and Paul are no exception.I've always wondered about Paul. He is the eldest and has taken care of everyone since he was just a boy, so it was nice to see him going after something he wanted rather than taking care of what everyone else wanted. But he learned that he had to just be himself and not be demanding when it came to Friday. And Friday is one tough chick. Seriously, I could never have done what she has done. And she acts like it's no big deal! I would have loved to have read the details about her own family and the situation that occurred, but it wasn't necessary for the book.I think my all-time favorite part was when they were raising money for the homeless shelter and all of the Reed boys helped do face painting. And then Friday convinced all of the boys to take off their clothes, raising a lot more money for people in need. Best. Scene. Ever. I was seriously laughing out loud when I was at work reading. Made my day.Again, Falkner did a great job with this story and I cannot wait to see the last Reed brother go down the same path! And from the looks of it from this book, I say he has his work cut out for him!

Heartbreak, healing, & a side of sexy
A great story about two people struggling to find their places in life, their futures. I think that I was expecting more introspection because I know both of these characters. Now, I want to see what makes them tick. I wanted to go deeper with both of them.Paul is the oldest Reed brother. The one that gave up any plans he may have had in order to raise his brothers. Friday is family by association. She works in the Reed's tattoo shop. There's the infamous Kiss, then...nothing. Friday closed herself off for reasons unknown to Paul. I thought the surrogacy storyline was interesting. All things considered, it unsettled me. I can't begin to posit the thought process one might have in a similar situation. However, that choice had me puzzled.Friday's past was heartbreaking and not, at the same time. Another issue that I didn't think received enough page time was the Kelly situation. What a bitch. She never got the (verbal) smack down that I thought she necessitated. Every time a Kelly issue popped up, it kind of went away. Something should have happened. I was waiting for the confrontation that never occurred.A fantastic, solid installment of the Reed Brothers series, this story is full of heartbreak and healing.

Tammy has once again raised the bar!
I dont like telling people how to feel about a book, and I don't want to bash an author. So I can only say how I feel about a book, and how I came up with how I review them. When I read a book I judge it like this:5 stars= LOVE it! Couldn't put it down and the story was amazing. I scream from the mountain tops for my friends to read it! Once or twice I may have told a friend I wasn't answering her calls until she read it. I think that highly of my 5* reviews :)4 stars = Really like it. There was just something missing to where I wasn't in love, or there was something that bugged me. I would probably tell my friend to read it. If I thought they would like that kind of story.3 stars= It was ok. It isn't bad, but I just felt "meh" while reading it and wouldn't recommend it to my friends2 stars= I just really didn't like the book. Some books have really annoying characters, nothing at all happens, or I just dont feel connected to the characters so I dont want to keep reading. And if I dont feel connected then reading becomes a chore. I would not recommend these books to a friend. Or enemy :)1 star= Didnt like it, and I couldnt finish. I have read around 400 books, and I have only given 3 or 4 a 1 star ratings.

i love friday
I love Friday. She is strong and sassy but she is also hurt, scared and insecure. Tammy has a talented way of taking her readers on a journey. The journey in proving Paul is, forgiveness, love, moving on and healing of the heart.Friday has secrets, her heart is hurt. Friday has been attracted to Paul for years, but she refuses to act on the attraction after Paul messes up.Will she give in and open her heart to Paul?Paul is the oldest Reed brother, and he has wanted Friday for four years. But he thought she was a lesbian, so he didn’t make his move. When he finally did make his move, he messed up and lost his chance. When Paul see’s Friday with two different men, he is instantly jealous and makes it known. But when he hears about her being homeless, he is quick to offer her a room in his apartment. Paul makes it his mission to make Friday his! But it is not easy, and there are a lot of obstacles along the way. One being, Friday is pregnant! But it isn’t how Paul thinks it is. Friday is acting as a surrogate for her friends Cody and Garrett. Although he struggles at first, Paul is quick to accept this and still pursue Friday. He later finds out about Friday’s past and her secrets.Paul being as loving and protective as he is, he helps heal the hurt in Friday’s heart and they are quick to plan a future together.

Awesomely speechless
I have LOVED this series from the beginning and as Tammy Falkner has progressed with the series so has her writing ability with The Reed Brothers.I had high expectations from this book as it was delivered plus more, Tammy has approached so many sensitive or taboo subjects within this series but has delivered it well and Proving Paul's Promise is no exception. From the start we have read about Paul and his big brother and fatherly ways we have read downright comical actions from the gorgeous Hayley and the strange way the boys show their love but in this huge family life is never dull.I found my self teared up only a chapter or two in but was left with tears rolling down my face further in. You will. Laugh cry and get mad but again you will love what is written within these pages.
