My Grammar and I (Or Should That Be 'Me'?): Old-School Ways to Sharpen Your English Paperback – December 1, 2011

I'm a writer and need to know these things. It's was to read and SO helpful.

I Ordered the book My Grammar and I OrShould That Be Me?: How To...I have ordered alot of the J. A. Vines booksI have yet to receive one I haven't liked .

This is one of a small series of books that should be on every pedant's bookshelf, except when it is in his/her hands! All those tricky English spelling and grammatical things that can become confusing the older you get. Easy to read, reassuring to find one is CORRECT after all, and nice to be CORRECTED, when in error, without anyone knowing. Every teacher and every parent should have a copy.

Saw the listing when looking for a stocking stuffer and though my soon to graduate high school would like it. I was right and it was a good choice. The 'someday I will be an English teacher' in my house enjoyed this book. She has been reading it constantly, so I guess it was the perfect stocking stuffer this Christmas.

So far, it's great. I haven't read the whole book yet.

I am enjoying this short,information-filled review of the grammar I may have missed or forgotten over the many years since formal school. I will keep it close as a reference book.

It's not often I buy a book that both entertains and educates - this is one book that does so! I learnt (or is that learned) something new and useful on almost on every page, A must read for anyone who writes for school or work, or just wants to write well!

I recommend this book to anyone who has questions about grammar. I am an English teacher and I have referred to it many times. It's well written and easy to understand.
